  • ur rippin bro...love ur ridin style

  • @westcoastfrisco thanks i like it as well, its kinda ME. I never hurt anyone or caused them to crash in all my years of riding except when someone would try and follow me, i had no mirrors so i wouldn't know they were trying until i was at the top and they came up riding on the back of some other riders bike.

  • Damn, look at that dislike bar. If you're going to bash someone for their riding habits then yours better be perfect. You risk your safety riding like an idiot. Squids risk their own safety riding with no gear. So worry about yourself and mind you own business.

  • @tiasboi3able commenting on MY video you are telling ME to mind my own business?? Why is it you guys comment AT ALL considering you have nothing nice to say? Mind YOUR own business, envy of my skill 12 YEARS ago riding will not train YOU to ride better. I learned my riding skill racing nationally and regionally getting trophies while i learned. It will come just give it time, be patient DONT ENVY and say stupid stuff we know you are a squid don't raise your hand.......

  • man i read all these comment on how you should do it on a track aand all this other bs if hes not hurting any one and not putting people in danger besides his self why are you guys hating so much but sick riding bro

  • @codmw2killaz they are envious, i have taught riding, i have ridden since 1987 this video was around 2000, and i have NEVER caused anyone harm. Although, i must admit if someone TRIES to follow me they fail, usually damaging their bike AND their pride........ on TOP of it all, i never even KNOW someone is TRYING as i took my mirrors off, behind me is old news im watching ahead ONLY.

  • @ownsnine yea i see how you ride your really good i bet theres very few people tht want to fuck with you but hey keep up the good riding broo

  • soo0o0o0 cool. You can drive a bike like an asshole, fast, and pass people. Wow fascinating vid. Didn't think such things were possible.

  • @theXb0yz you raising your hand and shouting "im a squid im a squid!!" scores you points with the ladies im sure :)

  • First of all let me say that you do indeed know how to handle that bike...but...that kind of riding belongs on a closed track... i have been on two wheels for more than 30 years and i know how hard it has been and still is to get ecceptance from the general non riding public..some of the moves you pulled in this vid will keep a bad taste in the mouths of people who may have been ready to say yes to bikers so please slow it down stay safe and show off in a closed situation for all to enjoy..LEKY

  • @norulesriderleky i understand completely this video was made 12 YEARS plus some ago. i have not ridden this way for years. I never hurt anyone, nor CAUSED anyone to have problems in my past. About the only difficulty i provided was people TRYING to keep up (me not knowing) and failing to do so. I raced for 8 YEARS in the AMA nationals, and AFM regionals as well. I know what to do on a track, as you could see in my riding on the street.

  • I hope one of those riders you passed punched you in the face after you stopped filming. I know more talented riders than you claim to be and they would never ride as immature and dangerous as that. Sell your bike and save a life.

  • @bdame25 That video is more than TEN YEARS OLD, and i never hurt anyone, i have raced both AMA and regional AFM racing organizations. You don't have to raise your hand and say "im a squid, im a squid, i see that in what you have written. Have fun doing whatever it is you are good at, enjoy it, don't spend you time picking on people that are good at something you WANT to be good at........

  • nosquidding (dot) com ;)

  • @nickgnaime i went and tried to buy one COOL, but they were out :(

  • @ownsnine Which color ya lookin' for? I will be restocking soon

  • @nickgnaime why BLACK of course :)

  • @ownsnine I think I got some 2 inchers in black left! I update our facebook (found at bottom of the website) when I restock if you are interested! I'll shoot u some extras if u end up ordering =)

  • @nickgnaime sure i would like them, hook me up with a link so i go to the right place......

  • Nice !!!

You did ride this road 4500 times ! hahaha I did not see any hesitation on any corner!

  • @chosa01 i believe that was a compliment, i THINK lol, thanks man. Yea, the hesitation i could FEEL, it isn't very VISIBLE.

  • @ownsnine I do ride. I ride well. When I feel the urge and need. I use a track to do shit like this. Grow up you kenny. As for attention seeking, I'm running commentary on YOUR stupidity, clown. I'm not the one posting up videos of plan and rife disregard for public safety under the ruse of "humor" as to account for the fact you're just a deadly, silly, prick. So pull your head up out your asshole for five minutes, recount the fact you're the attention seeker. And it's nothing short of bad, fool

  • @ownsnine having 'fun' at other people's 'expense'.. so chancing a fatality is a little bit of fun eh? I can see how I'm the dick and you're totally humble, professional. No, no. No. Really. Really now. I don't care if this was made 10yrs ago, just immortalizes your immaturity on two wheels forever, really.. I'll rest easy in the comfort that I will live for as long as health and age will dictate. Whereas, I can rest easy in the comfort that you will be congealed with metal.

  • @seitenshow its amazing how people like YOU are very determined to make people take notice of you. You apparently can't ride and get response that way, so you choose to pick on someone who CAN ride. Stop raising your hand, and saying "me me ME" when someone asks for a squid, we know, we GET IT you will gain NOTHING by attempting to make ME feel bad. I rode for YEARS, never hurt ANYONE, except myself, raced nationally, regionally had a blast doing it. Stop trying so hard to make someone look bad.

  • @ownsnine I dont understand why everyone has so much negativity on this video.. Everyone acts like they never ride like this.. Anyone who has a sports bike topped theirs out at least once or took on twisty roads.. Where else do we get our skill from? It took me 6 months to clean my chicken strips and drag knee. And now a total of one year riding I'm as fast as guys riding 25+ years only because of roads like these.. "Got the vids to prove it." You're all grown ass men, dont like it dont watch it

  • Overtaking on a road with a double solid line? Violating traffic laws just to look cool, then mocking the people you blew by as squids? Have you looked in a mirror lately?

  • @Prich319 i purposely DIDN'T have mirrors on my bike, as at 142 my top speed ON THAT ROAD looking back was a bad move. I made this video 10 YEARS after the ride, so the humor was way later. I was very humble when i road like this. I raced AMA, AFM and was successful in both. Envy will get you nothing, practice will bring miracles........bring on the miracle :)

  • "Accelerator is the right handle buddy" shame yours was on your forehead, where your knob is (how did you manage that with a helmet on). Cock smoker. You might be hot shit, or atleast, in your internet shameful mind think you're hot shit. Truth of the matter is you're a danger to yourself but more importantly than you, because frankly if you risk other's lives above your own.. *fuckwit - practically the same as murder* but then to others. Jelly sandwich in cowskin and a hardboiled egg hat.

  • @seitenshow yes i was using humor in my film TEN YEARS ago. I have raced AMA and AFM both and successful IN BOTH. Envy will get you nothing, PRACTICE will bring wonders, being a dick comes easy. Being humble is hard and having fun doing what YOU LOVE was what i was doing.

  • I believe the point has been made quite clearly, you are the SQUID!! Take it to the track and try riding with the big boys.

  • @cheeva30044 i have i raced AMA nationals and regional AFM i was SUCCESSFUL in both. Spend more time perfecting your riding than commenting on others talent...........envy gets you nothing.......

  • You realize you're the squid in this video, right? Riding like an idiot on the street, passing on a double solid in a blind turn, passing riders in their own lane on their left side, on their right side.

  • @ohgodwatwat what YOU don't realize is this video was made TEN YEARS ago, and NOTHING ever happened to ANYONE because of me :)

  • Comment removed

  • Ironic video is ironic.

  • You are both incredibly skilled and incredibly stupid

  • It's not just gear and lack of experience that makes a squid. In this video I saw a few squidly acts in the first 30 seconds. I'll admit your a talented rider, but the only place for riding like that is on the track. Your putting other riders at risk and clearly doing more damage to the image of sport bike riders. So in IMO you were the biggest squid on this video. Being fast on the street doesn't mean shit. There's no cash or points in it. Go to the track if you think you've got skills.

  • @McAnally56 i tried to add a pic or even the address of a pic but it wont let me. I DID go racing i have a pic to show but it wont let me here, email me and ask, i have won, and was on the podium a lot and enjoyed myself greatly :)

  • @McAnally56 do a search for Scott LaVelle on face book and you will understand better :)

  • @ownsnine Did a search and the names a little more common than you may have thought. I don't need a pic to prove you raced or your stats. I don't know you so I'm not going to doubt your word or call you a liar. I'm not that big of a dick. I'm just saying you should respect your fellow riders a little more, and with the experience I'm sure you have you know all it takes is one dumb ass on public streets and all the talent/skills in the world won't matter. Or one guy passing a new (continued)

  • @McAnally56 Scott LaVelle with the V capitalized and the jokers face as the icon, that is me.

  • @ownsnine (continued) rider like your on the track could cause him to make a mistake and go down. For some guys it takes a lot of practice perfecting that line, knowing how much they can hang off, getting past the common fears, and building their confidence the last thing they need is a fellow rider blowing past them on the right with out the go ahead. Like I said clearly your a talented rider, but we need guys like you to build the sport. Stay safe bro

  • @ownsnine I did manage to find something when I googled Scott LaVelle Racing a post about your high speed lowside. Scott LaVelle accident-the facts. Sounds like a night when your riding did hurt someone other than you. Your family. My daughter is what slows me down because I know she needs me far more than I need to go fast on the local twisties. Not to mention my family isn't going to get paid out on my SGLI if I die doing something reckless and/or illegal. lol

  • I highly admire LaVelle for his skills and courage to push that hard on 9. I ride often there, on 84west side, 35, Empire Grade... but never have this courage because of the CHP and my limited(still) skills. I watch ALL his videos many times over and can't stop smiling... For all the squids that bitch about breaking the law- go watch some Bamby movies instead and live us to have some fun! How is possible to be sooooo fake??? You never had a driving ticket, ever??? You'r just jealous morons...

  • @1967vsi I appreciate the admiration, but don't be too hard on the squids amidst us. They will learn on their own EVENTUALLY, just give them time as their envy runs deep :)

  • @ownsnine Squid here, don't envy you at all, becuase while I'm obeying the rules of the road and keeping safe, you are going to run into the side of a semi making a left turn a mile ahead of you that you don't notice because you are too busy passing 2 cars at 150 mph. Moron.

  • what is a squid? someone with VERY questionable riding skills

You mean like passing on double yellow lines? Exceeding the speed limit? Illegal passing?

  • @vagabond35 well your first line rules me out. I have raced the AMA nationals, and AFM regionals for YEARS. But envy is meaningless, practice your skills will come

  • @ownsnine that wasn't my line, it was yours. and I don't care where or what you raced, you put yourself and others in jepeordy with that illegal stuff

  • @vagabond35 funny considering this these videos are almost TEN years old and i never caused ANYONE any trouble my ENTIRE HISTORY of riding 9 THAT WAY for 20 YEARS every single time, but as they ALWAYS do, envy all you want i rode for all those years WITHOUT rearview mirrors for a reason :)

  • @ownsnine Again you prove my point, riding without mirrors? That's just stupid. Don't give me that crap about not causing problems, you have no way of knowing that, especially since you couldn't see behind you. Oh, and forget the envy stuff, any jackass can speed and pass on double lines.

  • @vagabond35 i have lived here for 40 years, everyone EVEN the police know who i am. I ride up to the top, sit and talk with everyone NOBODY has expressed that i have done ANYTHING to them or caused any problems. They are all trying to do WHAT I DO, in fact i have had a few people TRY and FAIL to FOLLOW ME, if that is me causing a problem for someone else then so be it. It is THEIR skill that makes them fail NOT mine. What is BEHIND me is NOT MY CONCERN hence no mirrors, at 142 ON THAT ROAD

  • @ownsnine So if you suddenly pass someone in a no passing zone and they are surprised and run off the road, you won't see it and won't care if they did because they don't have driving "skill"? You are without a doubt the kind of rider that gives ALL riders a bad reputation. That fact that you aren't dead or in jail is a testament to your LUCK, not skill. Both the AMA and AFM endorse following the law.

  • @vagabond35 don't you think i would have heard about it if i had ONE person fall off or crash as i passed them. As i sat at the top of nine and talked with the guys then came back DOWN the road again, so i have never seen anyone or HEARD about anyone that dealt badly with my riding. YOU on the other hand are PRIME SQUID EGO driven. You are obviously not going to get it, continue to do it your way, am i to assume you don't even break ANY laws EVER? Don't bother answering i know the answer im done

  • @ownsnine Bottom line, you break the law on purpose and are proud of it.

  • @vagabond35 i did it for YEARS, with NO PROBLEMS, the POLICE even knew who i was, even WHERE I LIVE and DIDNT BOTHER ME. i have been retired for 4 years, i am harming nobody and NEVER HAVE........

  • @vagabond35 Everyone has their own opinion about the law. if you break it and dont get caught who cares? give respect where respect is earned.

  • @angelofsummons So if I break the law by stealing your money and don't get caught, then who cares? Typical thought pattern of self centered idiots and criminals all over the world. The law is the law for a reason.

  • @vagabond35: stealing money harms someone. riding fast and not getting in an accident, harms no one. what are you, like 12 years old? i suppose you drive 65mph max on the freeway, all the time, everyday? riiiight

  • @SpeedyC362 That's the whole point isn't it? Speeding increases the odds of an accident that's why it is illegal. Not getting caught doesn't mean you haven't broken the law, it only means you didn't get caught. If you break the law on purpose, you are no better than any other criminal. All it takes is that ONE time and someone could wind up dead. Just because it hasn't happened does not mean it won't and setting a bad examples even increases the odds of a bad outcome go up.

  • @vagabond35 And why is your "name" VAGABOND and you are soo concerned about others breaking the law?Do you even know what VAGABOND means? I think you are just stupid, jealous looser that wants to look a tough man, but can't accept that some man are in real brave and tough. If Scott broke some driving laws, he got his share of thickets, and some serious crashes too. But don't tell us you NEVER broke any LAW, Ever! Maybe you are the new JESUS? Just get out of this channel, live it for lawbreakers

  • @1967vsi vagabond: A person who wanders from place to place without a home or job. Lose is the opposite of win, looser is what your screws are. I'm sure he got some "thickets" and yes, I have received a ticket or two, but I don't brag about it and encourage others to break the law. I know my stance isn't popular with some people. Get over it. Lawbreakers are lawbreakers, end of story.

  • @vagabond35 WIKI:Historically, Nazis regarded vagabonds as "individuals who are not socially accepted,"The term vagabond is derived from Latin word vagabundus, from vagari 'wander.' In Middle English, the term originally denoted a criminal.

We don't need lecturing from CRIMINALS, now GET OUT of this site, you LOOSER HATER!!! Leave us to have some fun, you can go watch "Bamby, Sleeping Beauty", whatever...Or find some friends to talk and fill your LOOSER's time with...

  • @1967vsi I'll use the modern definition of vagabond. If you wish to emulate Nazis and lawbreakers by all means go ahead. I am not offended by your childish behavior and name calling, it's pretty much what I expect.

  • @vagabond35 You never quit?? OK, you proved EVERYBODY you are here just to bitch and whine, filling your worthless time, arguing with EVERYONE. YouTube is for people to share and entertain! I came here because I admire LaVelle's riding skills and enjoy coming back... Tired of fags like you EVERYWHERE on YouTube that just wanna spoil our pleasure. If don't like it, just don't watch and GET OUT!!! No wonder you don't have friends to talk to, NOBODY will deal with such of asshole!

  • @1967vsi If you read my initial post, I merely pointed out the illegal acts. The only bitching and whining I see are in posts like yours. Man up.

  • @vagabond35 OK, I give up... You win against EVERYBODY else! Now you can go and spoon with your boyfriend. And let me know when you gonna be around Santa Cruz mountains, so I can come and pass you several times "Illegally" and give you more reason to bitch against all "criminal" riders. Now, please, leave this site and let us enjoy a little! Thanks!

  • @1967vsi Just because you have the skill to do something, doesn't mean you should. I can hit a 6" target at 100 yds with a 30.06 100% of the time. If that target was on your shoulder would you let me shoot? Same thing with unsafe riding, I don't want to be anywhere near it. Oh, one last thing, you seem to be hung up on peoples sexuality, are you insecure in your own?

  • ALL THESE DOT NET PPL HATE SQUIDS CUZ THEY DONT ENJOY THERE BIKES LIKE US SQUIDS DO! I THINK, MY OPINION! IM A SQUID!

  • good shit! :)

  • lol damn man beast mode

  • @666dnp yea, i just was having fun i love riding :)

  • Squid taste like chicken

  • lol i love passing squids like u do at 2:13 . do it all the time especially with cars in front that try to pass instead of letting u pass before it happens anyway

  • yeh good riding, but bro take it too the track, just a bit quick for a public road....we can all do it and probably do it in spurts here and there.but i prefer living and wanna see my kids grow up......If you were too take out a family member of mine riding like this on the road and you survived...... ide personally make sure you didnt.....Go racing it beats the shit out of this, trust me.

  • @motorcycledude1000 i did, this is years ago, i raced AFM and AMA, did extremely well in both. Nobody was EVER harmed in the 30 YEARS i road this road the way i did. You are right, keeping it to the track is the best idea however, i agree. You fall at the track, and bummer about your bike but YOU are usually fine and nobody else is harmed either. I raced on the track from 94 to 03 and worst was a broken arm :) also have trophies and experiences that i wouldn't trade for anything :)

  • @1100BlackbirdSuper i rode in that video over 10 YEARS ago, i NEVER caused ANYONE to crash or have ANY problems in 20 YEARS of riding that road EXACTLY like that. Your position of ignorance, and eagerness to talk negatively CONFIRM your EGO. i have MANY friends in the industry and have raced AMA and AFM so racetrack is not a foreign place for me at all, but whatever makes you feel good about yourself have at it.........

  • @aluisious actually you will laff NONE, it was a HELICOPTER TWICE lol. I road that road THAT way, since 1987, and we have calculated 5000+ times AT SPEED so going down ONLY twice is pretty darn good. The first time was indeed my fault, for the camera man (there is a video check it out) the 2nd time i got ran off the road by a van ON PURPOSE, so really not my fault but still TWICE isn't so bad. I dont ride at all anymore, so i miss it but have thought the better of it for 4 years.........

  • good riding... Hows your driving record? Im always scared cops are going to pull me over if I push it to fast... And I dont think I could run, a felony evasion would definitely cause me to lose my job, pretty much any serious traffic ticket, and I'm fired... I need to find a track

  • @greenninja999 Laguna and infineon are EXCELLENT. I have been riding that road since 1987, the worst ticket, emphasis on TICKET not taken in, not impounded, just TICKETED for 109, in a 45 zone, MORE THAN TWICE the speed limit, but i could have left him in the DUST, but i pulled over and WAITED for him, RESPECT gets you a LOT in this sport. Use it, it will reward you, dont run, dont LIE, just take your lumps when they come. The track is a perfect place because no worries. Good luck man.

  • @ownsnine haha, You got lucky to just get a ticket. I got pulled over when I was living in Italy doing a similer speed, about 100 km over speed limit... But the Carabinieri just laughed and said "This is not Luguna seca," and let me on my way... To bad MotoGP isnt a national sport here

  • @greenninja999 yea i had the advantage of EVERYONE knew me i have lived HERE and been on 9 wince 1987 so long time. The cops new me as well, my friends freaked when i had 3 patrol guys IN MY DRIVEWAY, they were ACTUALLY there just asking me how my racing went that weekend there was no bust anyone in their plan, in my driveway. Was a cool show though lol for people driving by other than they were CHP it looked like a drug bust.

  • @JRTSchmiddle I have a 2000 GSXR 750 STOCK in this movie. I ROAD FAST, not the bike was fast, ANYONE can go fast in a straight line. I stayed on my side of the double yellow unless i was physically PASSING someone. In England its called an Accelerator, and considering thats where most of us are FROM, thats what i call it.

  • @kopperman1474 newbie, i am 42 your watching videos from 13 years ago

  • @kopperman1474 i think you have the wrong opinion. I raced for 8 years, i wore protective gear not to appear a certain way but to protect my ass. I road at tracks at speed as well as i lived ON highway 9 and used it for practice. you need to watch LaVelle Laguna Nationals, Team Mate wreck Sears Point, riding 9 LaVelle's way to even have a CLUE who i was when i road.

  • must be painful BEING A SQUID OUT OF WATER :)

  • a squid is an asshole that thinks cuz he's fast he can go around passing people out trying to have a nice drive or ride dangerously and call them squids. dude, your a jackass.

  • @bostonmoto1 LOL, rather humerus considering this was YEARS ago, and i NEVER had ANYONE complain about my riding EVER.......wait, i smell sea food, do you smell that?

  • @bostonmoto1 Lol kid this is big boys game if your eyes cant make much of it you cant talk shit, how ever some people ride its their business the questions is WHAT you gonna do about it? get up there and smoke the hunter or just bark at it...if anything happens to any1 is the rider you clown!

  • The track sorts the men from the boys

  • @bn121 then you will have to look at my Laguna or Sears Point videos to figure out which one i am. How about the LAGUNA NATIONALS video, that would be a good start.

  • boring?! its not all the about speed my friend. its about having fun! Ok, you've ridden this for 4500 times but damn, looks like you got death wish or maybe ur ego is just up there. good riding skills btw

  • @Akho21570 just figured out how to reply sheesh i am clueless i swear I (the rider) ALWAYS road the road, slowly FIRST, up and back THEN went fast. I road 9 5000+ times times AT THIS SPEED with NO ISSUES EVER, until i tried to film it with someone filming me, THEN I SCREWED UP and looked at the camera man and blew the corner i was in.............

  • actually the accepted definition of a "sqiud" isnt necessarily a newbie, but can be applied to anybody at any level...its just somebody who tends to ride above and beyond their abilities, putting both themselves and others in harm's way.

  • @chris71mach1 interesting a more actually, ACCURATE description. Thanks, it makes more sense that way also. I cant unfortunately change the video, once its posted but this opinion WILL be posted on that movies comments list, I THINK.
