as a film student., i expected to much on this film. the film is good but not superb, i don't think that dis film can make in competition in any major film festival abroad. sharon's acting is good but needs a lot of facial emotions. the pain should be seen through the eyes and not much in dialogue. i think nora aunor or hilda koronel will best fit the role ( if the movie was done during their active days).

In response to koldexx21, I work for a company that provides caregivers and majority of these people are professionals in the Philippines like the Sharon in the movie. They are forced to come here be a caregiver for whatever reason that they have. So, given that you wrote your comment in Tagalog meaning that you are from a third world country too. I wouldn't be so quick to judge if I were you, one day these people that you are degrading could be the ones caring for you or a love one.

true in a way. there are movies that are meant to serve as a soap opera and yet this movie seems to tackle a caregiver profession which desn't have the full researched facts of the career. it did gives a different perspective of filipino's professionalism at work.

what a horrendous movie...my wife and i seen this movie and this is another reason why filippino cinema is not respected in the rest of the world, terrible script, terrible dialogue and very very predictable...the writer/directors should have really done thier research about what real OFW nurses have to deal with.
just because a person can cry on cue, DOES NOT MAKE HER A MEGASTAR...thats all sharon has going for her, every movie ive watched has her crying! and personally can the industry hire actors and actress with the real filipino skin color, not pale bleached white skin!
As for the story of an intelligent filipino/filipina sent overseas to do a "degrading" job and leave thier family..well heres something to the society! get better..for the past 400 years all we've been doing is complainig about how we have sacrificed so much, leave our families and cry cry cry...cause there is nothing in in the country..start fixing home first!

anyways if you have not seen this movie...good! spend your money on something else worth watching and wait till real directors, actors, and screen writers come out of the industry (might be awhile). SHARON played a very difficult outstanding role ever in PASAN KO ANG DAIGDIG where she portrayed millions of poor filipino and children all over the world. none seems to acknowledge the children, beggars and scavengers even sharon herself. it was about a great example to dream and be better in life. why this CAREGIVER all of a sudden when SARAH has a great job in the movie?

In response to koldexx21, I work for a company that provides caregivers and majority of these people are professionals in the Philippines like the Sharon in the movie. They are forced to come here be a caregiver for whatever reason that they have. So, given that you wrote your comment in Tagalog meaning that you are from a third world country too. I wouldn't be so quick to judge if I were you, one day these people that you are degrading could be the ones caring for you or a love one.

i only have one account. beside i only comment on videos and what i thought of them. if u find my comments negative that is fine. but they are not negatives at all. i love most of her movies up to KAHIT KONTING PAGTINGIN. other than that she made the trends of madrasta kapatid caregiver . i find them too unrelateable and not good of a story. "PAMILYA" as a trend will be her next project. I MIGHT BE RIGHT. IT'S ALL MONEY MAKING. trust me with this.lol

true in a way. there are movies that are meant to serve as a soap opera and yet this movie seems to tackle a caregiver profession which desn't have the full researched facts of the career. it did gives a different perspective of filipino's professionalism at work.

what a horrendous movie...my wife and i seen this movie and this is another reason why filippino cinema is not respected in the rest of the world, terrible script, terrible dialogue and very very predictable...the writer/directors should have really done thier research about what real OFW nurses have to deal with.

As for the story of an intelligent filipino/filipina sent overseas to do a "degrading" job and leave thier family..well heres something to the society! get better..for the past 400 years all we've been doing is complainig about how we have sacrificed so much, leave our families and cry cry cry...cause there is nothing in in the country..start fixing home first!

anyways if you have not seen this movie...good! spend your money on something else worth watching and wait till real directors, actors, and screen writers come out of the industry (might be awhile). But for now this movie once again shows the poor quality filmmaking the filippino industry has to offer.

SHARON played a very difficult outstanding role ever in PASAN KO ANG DAIGDIG where she portrayed millions of poor filipino and children all over the world. none seems to acknowledge the children, beggars and scavengers even sharon herself. it was about a great example to dream and be better in life. why this CAREGIVER all of a sudden when SARAH has a great job in the movie?

Powerful performances, cinematgoraphy and superb acting among the cast! in MEMORY OF SMOKEY MOUNTAIN AND THOSE WHO LIVES IN POVERTY GLOBALLY. THAT I WOULD SAY filipino's should have put more thoughts in what THE WHOLE MOVIE WAS ALL ABOUT and EMBRACED IT.

i did mention this before. lots of people did not like this movie because it did not justify what caregiver is all about. it gives a different perspective yet they titled it CAREGIVER to sell it when its not really all about the professional career. it's her life story. "SARAH" would've been a better title. people thinks caregivers are being api api. NOT FAIR FOR OTHERS. BUT I LOVE UR WEBSITE!
