Well, it is supposed to be "Garage-Punk" (and a cover of one of the original genre's Classic!), so it can't be "Continental"; this ain't no Euro-Freakbeat!
That was the ideal we had... Too bad customs in this country and general french back dated ways didn't allow us to nurture and establish ourselves; when we split up in 1990, it was on the verge of signing a Major contract...
THANKS! So many elogious feedback, it warms my heart; if only it wasn't 18+ years ago and I still had that band... Today, as it is in Paris, France, land of High Fashion Couture and No Man's Land of Rock, it is near impossible to form back a group of this caliber! (It only helps to be brat from the higher middle class echelon and then, you could only be doing that AIR or Daft Punk style of dreaded "French Touch" talked about in the hipper than thou media to make it work... SAD)
Thank You! It was shot in the Paris metro, very early in the morning, right before the arrival of commuters rushing out to work at the office (because, even late at night it wouldn't have been possible!)... Can you believe it? We were knackered! Cheers.
Our version was better, I believe, than the Mystic Eyes Organ-ized version issued on one of their classic neo-Garage LPs... more raw, don't you think?
WoOw ça déchire!! ;-)

Needs backup harmony vocals. Without that it doesn't sound authentic.

The original is by the Sparkles Inc. out of Texas 1966! We however patterned our version over the Swamp Rat's from 1967...

Your version is the best I've heard so far. It catches the right spirit. The video is also cool, looks very authentic.
