  • Another long-term study, this time following 39,000 women for 19 years, shows supplements do you no good and in fact may harm you. From the University of Minnesota study:

    "Based on existing evidence, we see little justification for the general and widespread use of dietary supplements [...] The risk of dying early was 2.4% higher among women who took a multivitamin compared with women who didn't."

    Guess who's pushing supplements?
