I remember in the paper when he still was an active officer spraying a homless person with a hose behind the RCMP station.. You got your good cops and then the cops that think they are above the law. I am from the U.S. Even though I am not Canadian, I can say this, "RCMP NEEDS TO DIE!" Not a single person there needs to put up with that behavior. Major Point, Backus is not a serving police member, he is not a RCMP officer doing a number on some guy in a wheelchair. As he is a ex member, and someone prominent in local business the Constable responding may have been to quick to take Bachus's version of events BUT it is not by any means corruption until the final charges/lawsuits are settled.
Backus has anger issues I remember him spraying a local homeless person behind RCMP station when he was a active member. Hope the RCMP take this serious and charge Backus and ends up in a court of law where he belongs for Assualt..
