Jeremy, This song has touched me in such a way that you could not imagine. I went through a rough divorce in 1999 and I have 2 boys that my ex-wife has not allowed me to have contact with since 2001. In 2007 my "dad" had my sons only 30 minutes away from me for 9 days and did not tell me they were here, nor did he try to contact me to let me know they were coming. I know there will be a day here or in heaven if it is God's will I will get to see my son's again. I can't wait until that day comes!
This video just helped me out in a major way i was losing so much hope in my christain life. About a year ago i started comming to god and i had gone away to school and became strong in my faith and was baptized on 2/3/11. But i never imagined the problems and tears i would face when going home for the summer for and my family was persectuing me for being christain and making rude. And little by little i started to lose faith and saying whats the point. This video just saved me in many ways.
i love the scripture 21:4 it helped me all those time i felt down and thought there was only heart break and sorrow god see's all and knows all and the bible said there is a better place for all of Jesus's children to go so don't give up faith there is a better place so wait and believe in Jesus and here will take you away from everything you have done in your past.

I just thought that I would share this, but a few years ago, when I was at a Bible Camp, it was the last day, and until then I couldn't feel anything except my own pain and fear, but on that last day, the preacher asked us to come up and pray, and I felt like I had no other choice, so I went up there, and the moment I put my head down on that alter, I just cried, and sobbed. Then that one moment happened and Jesus was there! I have never forgotten that moment of complete peace and I never will!
His first wife died from cancer, part of his suffering is in this devotional and song. He knows what it is like. My wife died in her 20's as the result of cancer as well. She was a strong Christian and is, without one doubt, in Heaven. This song is very comforting and reminds me of the GREAT place that is yet to come. My wife talked about Heaven with me often during her illness. This is a great-great song...

he has done so much for me. i never even thought of god in my life before i listened to this and all of his songs. he has changed my life and i feel so close to god now:) i went to the luke 18 at my school and the whole time we had silent prayer, adoration, confessions anything i would say a prayer, think of his insperational words and just knew that he and god are there watching over me:) and on july 31st im going to his concert and i have front row seats and that will make my faith stronger:)

Oh, and i remember seeing to sing this song at World Pulse Feast in Indiana this past August 8th. there was a dad with his adult special needs son just rocking out to this song. One day all pain will be gone and this broken bodies will be new. The joy that we have in Christ is the greatest thing ever.
I have felt like that so much lately, and there are so many things out in this world that tempt you and push you to a place you dont want to be. But just keep in mind the fact that there will be a day with no tears, no more pain, and no more fears. AND I CANT WAIT FOR THAT DAY

Sometimes I wish I had someone (physically, because this spirit of God thing isn't enough for now) I could talk to that knows and understands me. Why does it feel like all hope is gone if there is hope? Why do I find it more difficult as every day continues to pass? Why does it all feel so right and then suddenly is all taken right when you're getting back up there? I don't want to be that severe suffering person anymore.. I want to be normal again just like everyone else. :(
I don't know why you feel there is no hope in your situation but there is "always" hope! I believe in these last days that we will no longer just be tested---but we are taking the final exams!! Remember "many are the afflictions of the righteous---but God will see us through them all. As for being "normal"--there is heartache with all people. If our hope is in this world only, then we are most miserable . Our hope is as this song says, in that day when there is no more pain, death, or sorrow!!!
I understand how you feel. I have been there so many times when it seems the darkness will never end. God has been faithful to bring me through the darkness. Sometimes we just have to believe His Word against all our feelings, against the storm. In the end He will give us unshakeable faith. I will always be glad to talk to you..
I used to feel like that. This world is harsh and the Bible even tells us that the righteous may have many troubles. But the Lord redeems him out of all of them! You may think you really need someone physically to there to talk to, but I assure you, more than that you need Jesus. You need to talk to Him. When I started knowing Him and realizing that He is completely real, my life started to change. I was depressed and suicidal. He has rescued me from all that and given life! I'm here for you.

But you have to hold on, and push through to get the answers that your seeking, but in doing so, there will always be a struggle in uncovering the answers that your looking for.
@IXIslimjimIXI My advise (if your open to it, but if not it's up to you), is to start by looking into Gods word for the answers that you seek, it's not going to be easy, but if there's any good place to start, it would be that, but in doing so, ask the holy spirit to guide you along your journey, since he knows all things (1 john 2:27). Without his help, your not going to receive an answer.
@IXIslimjimIXI Please try to remember this if anything, although your faith may seem to be shaking, never forget that your heavenly Father loves and cares for you, and he knows what your going through internally, his unfailing love and open arms are ready to comfort you, and to give you the peace that you need. All you need to do, is talk to him, pour your hart out to him if you need to, just let him know how you feel, and most importantly don't give up on God, because he never gave up on you.

We both know how much God loves you and I have been through many tough times as well but I'm still standing, and it's because of the grace of God in my life. I'm only 16 and I've been though a lot. But I don't give up on God because He's never given up on me.
the other day i was talking to my friend after showing her this song. Yes his first wife died of ovarian cancer about 3 1/2 months after they got married. Steven Curtis Chapman is the one whos daughter died a few years ago. Thats when he debuted Cinderella. I love that song

I was on a Christian website around this time last year. I randomly clicked on Jeremy camp's music page...but at that time I was really feeling sad. Well, after I clicked on his name, this devotional played right when I needed to hear it most...it felt like God was speaking directly to me. Praise Jesus :)

Amazing how powerful a song can be. Amazing too how this song has helped me to cope with the loss of my son. My hope in Jesus has given me strength that has allowed me to continue, this song reminds me to keep my hope strong. "Praise you in the storm" another great song for those who might loose focus on the real objective. Sadness is beyond belief, grief that knows no bounds is wiped away. God gave his son for all, I gave mine back to him.

he has done so much for me. i never even thought of god in my life before i listened to this and all of his songs. he has changed my life and i feel so close to god now:) i went to the luke 18 at my school and the whole time we had silent prayer, adoration, confessions anything i would say a prayer, think of his insperational words and just knew that he and god are there watching over me:) and on july 31st im going to his concert and i have front row seats and that will make my faith stronger:)

Oh, and i remember seeing to sing this song at World Pulse Feast in Indiana this past August 8th. there was a dad with his adult special needs son just rocking out to this song. One day all pain will be gone and this broken bodies will be new. The joy that we have in Christ is the greatest thing ever.

Sometimes I wish I had someone (physically, because this spirit of God thing isn't enough for now) I could talk to that knows and understands me. Why does it feel like all hope is gone if there is hope? Why do I find it more difficult as every day continues to pass? Why does it all feel so right and then suddenly is all taken right when you're getting back up there? I don't want to be that severe suffering person anymore.. I want to be normal again just like everyone else. :(

I don't know why you feel there is no hope in your situation but there is "always" hope! I believe in these last days that we will no longer just be tested---but we are taking the final exams!! Remember "many are the afflictions of the righteous---but God will see us through them all. As for being "normal"--there is heartache with all people. If our hope is in this world only, then we are most miserable . Our hope is as this song says, in that day when there is no more pain, death, or sorrow!!!

I used to feel like that. This world is harsh and the Bible even tells us that the righteous may have many troubles. But the Lord redeems him out of all of them! You may think you really need someone physically to there to talk to, but I assure you, more than that you need Jesus. You need to talk to Him. When I started knowing Him and realizing that He is completely real, my life started to change. I was depressed and suicidal. He has rescued me from all that and given life! I'm here for you.

@ChristInJeff Please pray for me, i have had those days were i just go on walks and just listen to christian music and go into tears, im going through a hard time right now and sometimes i dont know where to turn, i still go on walks. and i go to this bridge where i just sit and look at the traffic go by, i pray and i dont know were my answer is. sometimes ALOT im lost....i feel like sometimes I dont get an answer, some guidance, i feel like my faith falls and i just need....peace.....& joy....

@IXIslimjimIXI My advise (if your open to it, but if not it's up to you), is to start by looking into Gods word for the answers that you seek, it's not going to be easy, but if there's any good place to start, it would be that, but in doing so, ask the holy spirit to guide you along your journey, since he knows all things (1 john 2:27). Without his help, your not going to receive an answer.

@IXIslimjimIXI Please try to remember this if anything, although your faith may seem to be shaking, never forget that your heavenly Father loves and cares for you, and he knows what your going through internally, his unfailing love and open arms are ready to comfort you, and to give you the peace that you need. All you need to do, is talk to him, pour your hart out to him if you need to, just let him know how you feel, and most importantly don't give up on God, because he never gave up on you.

Can I ask why you no longer think you believe in God? i love jeremy camp. this made me cry. i think that this song has helpd me go through a lot of pain and sorrow. I dont know where one of my family members have disappeared and it hurts me that a loved one is missing. I would appreciate it if u could pray that i an find that family member. Yes his first wife died of ovarian cancer about 3 1/2 months after they got married. Steven Curtis Chapman is the one whos daughter died a few years ago. Thats when he debuted Cinderella. I love that song
