Yes, thank goodness. I remember Mick on the Stars DVD basically saying this was not very good punk music and that they were trying to sound too much like the Beatles and make it fit into punk music. All the same it's good to see his beginnings a bit of a history lesson. Thanks for posting these so people can see how far he came from FE to SR.... WOW! Hopefully we will see more good music from Mick in the future. :-)
I don't really care for this one either, although it is better than some of the other songs I've heard. They are not trying so hard here to be punk which is probably why it's somewhat better. Sounds like they were trying to sound like the Beatles here. Thanks for posting these though.
@feefee451 Thankfully they ditched the punk in favour of a more blues-oriented style. ;) I understand they used to perform Bo Diddley covers at this point in their career. Mick also used to listen to a lot of Ray Charles and early James Brown.

I hope too! Mick is and has always been a great talent and his voice. he has a voice very very intense and highly refined style! :)
