@222Duo that's how games usually ends.once this tune plays its a mad dash to the escape vehicle. with some map exceptions most games put that escape point a good deal away and this is when the largest horde comes out, tanks and specials like crazy. while you can fight together and make it to the escape most people usually fail and by the 3rd time around it just devolves into a every man for himself scenario. only time you save someone is if its on the way to escaping, but there is no picking up.

Left 4 dead should be a movie series! first movie whould be about no mercy hospital, where survivors find Keith! btw keith is bitten by a zombie and doesnt want to show the scar to survivors, so advanture to no mercy hospital begings and such but in the end when survievors are running to the chopper keith falls on the floor and feals dizzy since his been biten by zombie, so he makes heroic sacrafice by draging zombies to him so he could save survivors btw keith gets jumpt by hunter

I share the same opinion as you. Left 4 Dead's engine switches things around based upon what difficulty you'e on, punishes you for shooting team mates, and decides how the levels will be based upon the stress level of your character. You will never get the same gameplay twice.
