Indeed there are human bones in that pond. It was a popular spot to dispose of mob "rubout"victims in the '20's and '30's.

That was nice of you guys to do this. I'm so shook up over why people would have tossed the headstones in to begin with. Without a doubt there must be human bones in there too. I'd contact the makers of a good depth finder and see if the'll advertise their product by volunteering to use it there. You can monitor the entire lake from a computer. Who knows what's in there?
