@Duffman12241113810 why so much hate? Kind of goes against the purpose of praise doesn't it? Omitting of verses and inclusion of new verses happens A LOT in christian music. In the end it's all for the glory of God. No need to bring in such vile words. Look at your own heart brother before you judge others. *God Is Love*
@Duffman12241113810 I understand and sympathize with you. However, difference in opinion is not always wrong (Romans 14). Even if they omitted the most important verse to an amazing man of faith, their intentions were pure. So you can't be angry with that. Luckily, God looks at our hearts. I am sure he delights in your passion for that logic, and at the same time delights in the heart of worship Jars of Clay brings in this song.
@jacob3432 i'm trying to find out too. I know Leigh Nash sings with them a lot, but it doesn't sound like her. A little more like Sara Groves. If it's someone who isn't just a punchcard backup singer, I'd wager it's her.
@IDKwhat104 I didn't mean any offense towards them. Just my opinion. I personally don't like super up beat music; never have. The more mellow, the better. However, when I heard this, the first few lines just sounded depressing and the lyrics seem so joyful. But the more I listen to it, the more I like it. Music is all subjective and opinions change. ^.^ God bless you!
this is by far the most beautiful hymn ever written, however this cover of it is one of the worst i've ever heard.

@cykoo87 It's not hate brother, it's anger due to the lack of respect for a man who died for his faith. That's wrong no question about it.
