  • How do you see?

  • Thanks for using and mentioning my tutorial! Sadly it's pictures are no longer up I've been told.; I do however have the entire tutorial saved as a Firefox file that I gladly email to people who request it.

I am looking for other hosting to put the tutorial back online but in the meantime I can be contacted thru my account here on Youtube should anyone need the files.

  • do a video response to meh some one please of how ginyajyuu made his mask please

  • :D "That skull base is perfect!" *follows tutorial link*

D: The tutorial requires the images, but all the images are missing now. T_T

  • how did u make all of that? its so cool

  • How come every person who likes furfaggotry is pale, fat, ugly, and sounds like they chain smoke crack?

You are an ugly, perverted person. Your mother should be ashamed for raising you the way she did.

  • @EliteAmericans what and the fuck is your problem?

  • @EliteAmericans what the hell dude? what did she ever do to you? amn if anyones mother should be ashamed of their child its you dick lick!!!!

  • @EliteAmericans Cry some moar

  • @EliteAmericans Also, I bet you don't have the creative skill to make anything like this. Loser.

  • @EliteAmericans Your mother should be ashamed for raising you to be so inconsiderate of the feelings of other human beings.

  • wait so if you use the plastic canvas like whats on the panther mask do you have to put foam over that or do you just use foam for a bit of shaping and then fur it? it seems so much easier to use canvas but i need to know. also, how do you secure the pieces of canvas? hot glue? please help!

  • zomg its a jackal shoot it

  • @squeakychewtoy i advise you to use small springs instead of rubberbands becase rubberbands can wear out and break easily so go to a local lowes or tractor supply or home depot or sometimes walmart will have them this is from personal experience (it sucked and i had to fix it right before con)

  • I am thinking about making a fur suit head myself. How do you attach the foam to the plastic mesh? I have looked everywhere and I can not find the answer.

  • Furfags

  • luve it

  • Who is the tutorial made by? Sounds like you said sportyfox, or something, on topia?

  • @altermann1ify Yes SportyFox On FurTopia

  • cool idea but the fur sucks

  • Way is that stuff called that looks like plastic and where did u buy it please it's my first time building a head :) thanx for the vid

  • could you put some small springs or bands inside the mask to help close the jaw?

  • I had the same problem with one of my wolf masks - the bottom jaw hung open because of the teeth being too heavy xD

  • U could out an elastic or even a preice of string to stop the hanging

  • Thank you for this :) I am working on a costume for a haunted house I volunteer at. This was hella helpful ^-^

  • @husky1trainer have u tried makin one of those things? it hard lolz

  • mite i say it looks great... luv the wolf but the hair and ears look a little funny

  • looks like a collie :) very cool/cute

  • you´re great!

one day i´ll try a fursuit too but i´m but i´m not very good...

  • Maybe try using some springs near the jaw or something to hold the jaw closed and still have the opening effect

  • sorry my english is bad but how did you do that teeth?? very awesome, i want to try to make some kind of head costume too.

  • Umm a little late, how did you do the jaw? Looks pretty good.

  • How u make the fur? btw u should taken ur glasses off 1st then put on half way then put glasses through mouth then on ur face then pull on fully Lolz the wolf looked scary and cute ^_^

  • Very very nice job on the wolf mask.head. Looks wonderful.

  • im sooooo jealous!!! i want one it so awsome!

  • so cool, right now it looks like a crocodile :P (that isnt mean to be nasty btw)

that second mask is so damn cool

  • put some rubber bands on the back teeth to pull the bottom jaw up all the way to compensate the weight of the teeth, not too many bands, you want to move the jaw still.

  • awsome fur head. you ruined it with the hair though

  • Wow! that looks so cool

  • you rock

  • you are so cool-very helpful if your on FB check out my art on my photo albums

  • how do u put the jaw in

  • If the jaw is too heavy and flops down, instead of making it lighter use a counter weight on the other side of the jaw (mounted internally so you can't see it) so it is equally weighted in both directions of travel. Like they use on bridges that raise up.

  • little to big

  • I'm not a furry even though I do have some characters that I assume are furries so I respect them.

But I will have to admit, this mask is really amazing and kick ass! I'd love to do this for a halloween costume or cosplay. ^_^!

  • i use the same style of making a head and moving jaw except i use nuts and bolts for the hinge. they are VERY hard to put on XD but so simple to get off while riping your hair out at the same time lol

  • I wouldn't be surprised if one of you people get shot by a hunter someday lol

  • WOW what did you use to make the eye and fang

  • What the material on the "skull"?

  • @OS9jazz PLastic mesh.

  • Yo!

You could make it spring loaded so it would stay shut but have a pad to rest the bottom of your chin on so you could just move your chin/jaw down to make it open.

  • very cool

  • that wolf head looked awsome and were do u go to get the suplise to make that

  • your amazing you go girl

  • omfg ur wearwolf is f***ing amazing!!!!!!!!! thats totally asome :D

  • Kool!!!!!!

  • what supplies do you need

  • Your head looks like my OC werewolf O_O i want!!!

  • how much would you charge for a mask commission?

  • how did you make it hinged?

  • It's called plastic canvas, you get it at Jo'Anns

  • nice

  • omg small eyes!

  • Beautiful work and creativity! Enjoyed the video and how 'real' the creator is...

  • Awesome

  • That is awesome.

  • So that's how they do it :O

im new to this furry stuff xD

  • whats the vision like in there

  • I'm not all that into the furry thing, but I have to respect the sheer craftsmanship some of you guys put into your stuff!

One of these days, I'd like to take some of the techniques you guys use (especially the moving jaw effect) and make a kickass costume or cosplay out of it. :)

    Props!

  • Dude , that is COOL I need to buy one

  • You need to MAKE one. xD

  • Haha yep. dunno how though........

  • I want an evil wolf head! I work at a hunted house.. have for 8 years.. & really would love something like this...... how much do you charge for a project such as that??

  • Grandma! What big teeth you have! 0:

Lol, just kidding. :) Looks great!

  • Waw I'm impressed your very inventive and those are well made :)

  • where do you get the fur and is it fake?

  • pretty vicious lookin...damn good job

  • cool mask^^ i like it's awesome

  • Lol You look like a bird when you have the first skull on XD

  • well, one thing i would suggest that i saw in another video somewhere it so put some black fabric in the back of the mouth so thay people cant see your mouth

  • can you show how you make it?

  • that is so badass 8D

  • 8D nice make it thank you

  • Foam. Much easier and less painful darling ;3

  • that is pretty shaggin awesome to me!

  • Not bad. Never will like the mesh method though.

  • that mask makes werewolves from dog soldiers look small and there 8 foot

  • o.o I want one.

  • * shakes uncontrollably * O.O... I want the mask!!! OhmiGod, I've been looking for the perfect Lycanthrope mask forever!!! THAT'S IT!!!

  • dude O_O i wish i was that good :( u so lucky you can make stuff like that.i cant -_-

  • If I ever made a fursuit, I wouldn't put any fur on it, and I would say I was a furless cat xD Nawh but that suit is extreme, I really like it!

  • where did u get that mask? its cool

  • Oh, how awesome :3

  • UR A Genius lady... no lol...cool mask.

  • man im so jealous of those masks :) XD

  • niceeeeeeeee!!!

  • very nive u could put some ruber bands conecting the jaws?...it might hold but best ever very nice 5/5

  • Awesome mask.

  • it is a werewolf

  • That looks like a fun hobbie

  • hehe =P

  • OZZY!!!

  • I love that "om nom nom" you put in xD

  • have you tried putting alistick on the jaw to ceep it from saging down like that ^^ asome fursuites thow ^^

  • what is it hinged by

  • do u take commissions

  • ahh i wanna make one but i have nooooo talent i wanna make a terry wolf

  • If you're look for a lighter material, you can make the teeth out of styrofoam. I used it for my crocodile marionette and looks awesome. It would work just the same as the crayola magic teeth, only lighter. You can sand it, then use Workabale fixative or Flexcoat to harden it or even use a gloss type of fixadive to give it s shiny look. You'll find it's much lighter than the material you used here and just as effective. :-)

  • how about puting Rubberbands in the jaws to give it some more upholding support ?

  • WOW! that's so cool!

  • GAHHHH! I'm so mad! Furtopia forums are down, and I got the pieces cut out, and I tried to go put them together today, and it won't let me!!!

  • i could have worded that better...

  • Oh noes! D: Seem to be back up now... hmm, I may have to do a video adaptation of that particular tutorial now that I think of it!

  • lol at :43 NOM NOM NOM!

  • cool, I like your craftyness, wish i had your talent, but I think I'll just end up buying a fursuit.

  • Zomg! The wolf scared me a little xD

Show us some more videos with that one!

  • Have you tried threading elastic through the jaw? I mean if you place it right you can bearly see it, you just need a bit of braided elastic each side, should work, brilliant mask, he's so cute =3

  • That is very cool!! even tho you got help with it it's structure is very good! <3

  • I want a fursuite :3 or make one my self, and that is something I cant do :D and the first head thing look'd like a birdyface :D

  • making one myself- trying to fit it better to my head, since I obviously have a larger head than Sporty Fox did XD

Mine will be a wolf though- thinking of making a fox to sell as well *shrug*

The teeth on your werewolf are AMAZING :D great work!

  • where did u get the made one if you made yourr self are u makeing and selling any?

  • hey umm how do people get the eyes to move

  • They don't. They eyes are designed to press into the suit, creating the illusion of them following you around. :3 Same as those 'moving eye' pictures they sell at Halloween.

  • I'll have to say Your mask making skills are impressive, I intend to employ the same type of technique, on creating a Rawhead Rex mask from the, Clive Barker books of blood, stories, just need to get my basic materials to work with

  • whats going on with all the video's about people makeing fur suits ? i dont undertsand ?.....wolf head is pretty cool tho :)

  • Holy shit the wolf head's frightening (in a good way).

Oh and thanks, I've been looking for how to make the moving jaw for my tiger head.

  • stop adding hair on it =/

  • Eh? O.o

  • hmm, some fursuits look better w/out hair but it doesnt matter, as long if your satisfied with it.

  • put elastic to make it close better

  • That head is scary as hell xD but it's so cool.

  • A much easier way to make a moving jaw is to simply put elastic on it and make it so your chin rest on it! So when your jaw opens its fourced open!

  • you could probably make the teeth out of sculpy clay- there's a 'light sculpy' version that will probably make the lower jaw a lot lighter :)

  • lol

    OM NOM NOM

  • OMG That werewolf head you did is AWESOME ^^

  • Oh wow! Nice! but I got a question, do you think this design would work well for something that doesn't have fur? Like something thats mecha? Like a Zoid? I don't know if you've ever head of them but I was just wondering.^^

  • As long as you don't plaster or cover the hinges with anything solid it'd be okay. You can see your face when it opens though, so I'd go ahead and cover the hinges in a like-colored fabric, and the inside of the mouth with a black breathable cloth, to micik like a cartoon would have.

  • Yup, that's a pretty good technique you've got there. Good ol' Vicious is still just as awesome as ever! I agree with the suggestion, though, to try adding some rubber bands to help pull the mouth closed.

More and more, I find myself wishing I could afford an awesome fursuit head like that, even though I have no idea what I'd do with it (aside from Halloween) if I ever got one!

  • Awesome video! :3 <3

  • just a tip love the video and the future refrence

^_^ you should use elastics or rubberbands to keep the mouth from dropping from the weight. thanks for the video

  • Ooh, ya know... I think I'll try that! Thankies. :D

  • no problem hehe <3 oh and i love your suit ^-^

  • oh yeah lemme know how it works out ^-^

  • Furry Christee is so cute! And very talented as well! :-)

  • Wow, ur fursuit head scares the crap out of me..XD But nice job though..=3

  • great video

  • woo for furry pride ^_^ nice shirt 2. Keep it furry.

    ~Sly Fox~
