What we need to do is work out what our contribution to warming is if any. After all if human activity is at least partially responsible as they say there may not be a lot we can do. If our contribution is say 10% and we cut our co2 by 50% that 2 degree rise will still be 1.9 degree.

We need to invest in living with rising temperatures, food, water and future energy needs. As in North America and Asia where GM crops are failing we need to do this naturally.

If the temperatures are actually going down we might make matters worse by trying to control the supposed "global warming". That worries me a lot. We could very well expedite a natural process to cause a global cooling which could affect our food supply and other weather sensitive things we rely on. Worse, we might actually use more oil and fuels to stay warm and propogate what the scientists are wanting to prevent.

Just look what we did to Yellowstone before we realized the vital role that forest fires play in the health of that ecosystem. Trees need them to reproduce. The so-called "scientist" cherry-picked data from 12 trees out of a data set of 34 to show a dramatic warming trend. (The Yamal Peninsula data) When all 34 are used, the data shows a slight cooling trend in the last 200 years.

Most of the studies done over the last few years have been based on this bogus data.
