@MichaelinSF the Rottingwood nickname came from the owner because of all the work to keep the place going as everything ages and deteriorates ... Bonnie was hilarious ... she was chagrined because she wasn't allowed to go back outside and mooch more food off of generous party goers [she was already about bursting at the seams ... looked like she swallowed a basketball when she was laying down!]
You know, every time I hear that song with this video, I rmember the first time it was performed in public. And the rapturous joy on Marcel's face in that silly conga line!
If The Rapture was actually postponed, it was because people like Little Feat are still making beautiful music...
That place looks amazing! :) Also, I love those party shoes! Hahhaha. Awesome video and the editing is terrific. :) The ferry ride back looks like it had some beautiful scenery too.
@ashleypurrs... on the ride TO the island there was a seal performing dolphin moves along side the ferry, but it had already passed by before I could get my camera ready [missed opportunities, oh well] =o)
I agree that you did a great job with the editing. You kept it moving along quite nicely and you explained what was going on. Rottingwood (I love the name) Estate looks like a great place. My favourite scenes were the party shoes and going along your street and rolling up to your house.:)
@silverpoint16 I wouldn't mind having a pair of those party shooz >g< ... rolling up to the Playhouse is one of my fav scenes too .. .I was only moments away from the loves of my life ... they didn't even make me suffer for abandoning them *and* our routine ... of course they got to hang with their trusted friend Avery, so I'm sure it was a pleasant change of pace [especially when they were able to abscond with a whole bag of treats they normally can't access on their own!] =oI
Looks like an awesome place and like uz all had fun! Plus love the "boob cake" haha xD I cant wait till I get some time off to have a weekend away, the weather might be dreary but a break is a break. Also you done a BRILLIANT job of editing. :) ♥
@powerpuff250387 Good eye catching the Boob Cake [double D's for Donna and DeeDee] ... wish I had footage of the barn set-up ... there was a stage and several musical acts ... things were really hopping after dark. =o)
@AveryMilieu It's been almost 18 years since I was up there. The poplars were pretty much sticks when last I saw them now they tower over the manor ... couldn't have had *lot's of fun* if not for you hanging with the boys over the weekend ... they adore you ♥
