Ryan was right. In 2011, I got a job because a company was willing to hire. Would they have hired if their taxes were increased? I don't know. But I am grateful that I got a job, and believe it was because my company was not overly taxed.

We need to look at the big picture about hiring instead of your single case. Company are willing to hire for many reasons, and taxes is actually a very small part of it.

Obama actually gave tax cuts to small businesses since small businesses are the actual job creators. Ryan's "job creators" are actually the lobbyist corps, so please get your fact straight.

Ryan heads in the right direction but the truth is that a exit strategy is needed to bring the nation back into constitutional alignment.

A exit strategy for Social Security and Medicare. Remove all the regulations and collusion on medical care to bring back a true 100% free market medical capitalism system which would make us the medical nation to the world with the greatest incentives. And create a incentive system for charity based care for the needy.

I have an idea to save SS and medicare, Why don't the republicans put back the 2.5 trillion surplus they stole from SS to pay for their wars and tax breaks to the rich, so they can try to force austerity on Americans and all the people that don't want SS and medicare sign out of the programs by waiver. That fixes That. now end the wars and increase taxes on the rich and corporations and regulate!!!!!.

Focusing on Glass Steagall is misguided. Glass Steagall provided a check but the lack of it had little do with the mechanisms creating the housing bubble. The bubble was fueled by a fraudulent interest rate, the GSE's gobbling up bad properties and a government promoting housing for people without sound fiscal policies.

@kmg501 Some of your ideas are correct but you are misled about Glass Steagal and the relationship between commercial and investment banks, Glass Steagal kept the two seperate because the fed is obligated to backup (fdic) deposites made by citizens and invested by banks and their investing activities were limited to very safe investments, investment banks were on there own until they were joined with commercial banks through the abolishment of Glass Steagal. Your med. opinion is mostly wrong.

I never said that repealing it was good. I said you were misguided to focus on it because there were other large forces at work. And this isn't about an opinion at this point, it is historical facts that demonstrate the governments role in the bubble creation and the blow out.

@kmg501 You are very close, the US government does give aid for meds to some very poor countries and the med companies have lobbied corrupt politicians to pass laws to allow them to charge what ever they want, they can't get away with this in foreign countries because if the price is not fair they will copy the meds and produce them theirselves 200% cheaper. As far as the med companies needing to recoop their research investments, it is mostly paid for with taxpayer money, so thats a fail.

You're even admitting that Americans are being allowed to be forced to subsidize other nations price restrictions. That's why I am not a free trader when it comes to the international tier because many other nations do not practice free trade.

We have this exactly backwards. Domestically we have anti free trade laws & policies and internationally we have free but not fair trade. The paradigm on those two tiers need to be reversed.

@kmg501 I am not say we are forced to subsidies this, I am saying that the med companies can not get a 200% markup on the meds in other civilized countries because the will say screw you and your pantent. we will make it ourselves. And in some cases they sell the product at a fair price and in some cases the meds are copied. It's a pretty simple concept. What I was saying is Americans are being played like fools by the med companies, healthcare system and health insurance companies in America.

@kmg501 Hey, these countries are protecting themselves againt extortion by foreign companies and Americans need to do the same against these corporate giants that are in most part not even owned by Americans, yet they are American companies. While it is true what they are doing is theft of patent, their actions are logical. When a med company gets $10.00 for a pill that cast less than .10 cents to produce their claim of lost profit is nonexistent but the extortion is still there.

@kmg501 When the food corporations have sucessfully patented all food as genetically alterd patents and make it illegal to grow natural foods or have unaltered animals because it might corrupt their holdings, we will all be guilty of theft of patent to survive because they will try to starve us into submission to a NWO.
