I saw him in Adak 2 weeks before it sank and the last thing I said 2 him was I'll see ya Dutch brother! he was the kindest person you'll ever meet. Glenn Harper and I Ced's cousin also worked 2 together on the Alaska Ranger it's so weird because we left a trip b-4 that boat sank,and the last him I talked about how lucky we where 2 leave when we did.GOD BLESS I miss u Ced!!!

What I would like to know is, who is the pencil pushing idiot, that designed a BLACK life raft. What companies development manager signed off on that being a great idea. Even the Coast Guard guys in the helicopter commented that they barely saw it and they were right above the thing. Thank God the CG didn't arrive before dawn because there is NO WAY they would have seen those rafts at night. They would have run out of fuel by dawn and those guys would not have survived until they had returned

How many times is this story going to change before people will actually hear the truth? The boat has documented reports saying the katmai was in distress at 12:37am and then the boat supposively sank around 1 am on the 22nd. Why is the captain talking about the boat taking on water at 2? Thats not true. this man has told so many lies, he doesn't even know what the truth is.
