Man, just listening to this takes me back to my childhood when life was simple, sleep came easy and Saturday mornings couldn't come fast enough. But as we counted the days til the weekend we had TV shows like this to tide us over. I just love Nell Carter's voice. Her voice really stands out over all the others. Sadly the days of this kind of television is long gone. All we get now is just a bunch of reality crap with no taste at all. But thanks to youtube we can come here and remember.

all of these people are great, they are from a time when people had real talent, and TV stood for something, we all learned life lessons and also were entertained by great actors, TV nowadays has really gone down the toilet! its sad! most things are not funny and the acting is HORRIBLE! Bea, Nell, and Marla are my faves! love those divas! and the song is GREAT! LOVE IT! very touching! I miss 227 and Golden Girls! GREAT TIMELESS SHOWS!
