I love to go to Pittsburgh to ride the T, and the new CAF cars and the CAF-built Siemens re-habs are nice, (all except for those stupid hard seats they put in) but I have to say I really miss the PCC's, and the old Drake line. Those cars were a mainstay in Pittsburgh for 63 years, and even though I'm only 29, it's still strange not seeing them on the rails anymore. Oh well, at least car#4004 is at the Pa. Trolley Museum...and in service there!
Nice shots, but why so many of the Wood St. Station X-over? There's so much more interesting stuff to show... like the Panhandle Bridge over the Monongahela River, the Mt. Washington transit tunnel at Station Sq., Overbrook and Washington Junctions, the other subway stations, street running in Beechview on the Red Line, the modern Blue Line stations and right-of-way. But thanks for sharing!
Three reasons: 1) It was 23 degrees when I was there so being indoors was a plus. Secondly, I was focused on the bus system and these clips were part of the rides I took on the T to get where I needed to go for bus photos...and lastly, the system is so mixed with private and public ROWs, it's hard to get any decent video save what you mentioned.

why does the train labeled "red line" have a green color to the text?

@ryanscav
That's the natural color of the destination sign. it's unable to change color.
