I think I find representing the Guards and Monarchy on tea towels and thimbles (that will probably never be used as such and just contribute to trashing the environment) insulting. Taking an iconic event and making an artistic comment is fine and could even be seen as a compliment. This speed just emphasises how difficult the marching is for the Guardsmen and makes the precision even more obvious and impressive than at normal speed.

The monarchy leach of a significant amount of our tax. They do nothing for the country apart from irrelevent ceremonial duties.
