Dylan wrote it and recorded the definitive version. Hendrix created the ultimate rock guitar version. Dylan felt Jimi's cover took his song to its potential. And yes Dylan can sing samdud moron! Such an incredible voice really, as Bowie said, "like sand and glue". With perfect phrasing. The singer here is rather pedestrian in my humble opinion.
