Well, after all of these years of eating a chocolate pudding pie to try and compensate for this vinilla..... son of a bitch, I'm pissed off. Now I can lay it to rest and know I won't get another but I was kinda waiting on the day that I'd see one on the shelf.

You can still get cream or pudding filled pies, but usually they come from small local or regional bakeries. You have to really look for them. Usually they are on displays separate from the big national bakeries in the supermarkets. The big nationals don't want to compete with them on price so they want them kept as far away as possible. Some of the lesser known bakeries actually have pretty good products but not enough people try them because the big bakeries get all the best shelf space.

continued...... not saying that you do BUT im sure there are alot of people who remember the drink for its extreme rather then its taste. My view on crystal Pepsi is "it got discontinued for a reason" if i do recall it had a very harsh taste like it had to much carbonated water,which is funny considering looking at it you probably would think it was milder. Wow!!! My Rant on this subject was either genius or idiotic?!!? But i do know one thing my grammer was pretty poor..........sorry about that

I had high hopes for Choco Bliss when it first came out but it was just too chocolatey. It burned my throat when I swallowed it and it was overpoweringly sweet. Chocodiles were great, though. How do you make a Twinkie better? Dunk it in chocolate of course. LoL.

So I sent Hostess an email about the vanilla pies and why on earth they don't make them anymore. A week later I got a letter with a coupon for a free hostess item and the letter said that that product is discontinued. Was nice of the them but didn't answer my question as to why its not being made anymore. There is no way its cause they didn't sale well cause when I was a kid I had to often check several stores to find one cause they would always sell out so fast.

@AlphaX1980 mind over matter(tongue/taste buds). its been proven that the looks of food (or drink) can REALLY make some things taste better or worse sometimes especially if its extreme. Example:10 out 15 people got sick from eating mashed potatoes with blue food coloring cauz their brain couldn't fathem blue mashed potatoes i guess. Clear cola is extreme and i suspect MOST people who speak fondly of clear pepsi do so more because of the cosmetics whether they realise it or not. continued.....
