This is the type of music that too really appreciate it you will need a car with a souped up V8 roaring, with a pair of big-haired badass babes waiting inside. RATT RULES! Bring back the 80's because today is lame!
all of you who are here now alive and keeping it real keep this era alive. fucking dress up 80s metal and be the hair days. go to concerts and blast the music. the mor ethe merrier and I right! Mullets r us!!!!
There could not possibly be a better end song to a fantastic album. Driving rock from start to a blazing, steering wheel thumping, dash board poundin, head-bangin finish. Zero dislikes....yeah. AS IT SHOULD BE.
The production and arrangement on Out of the Cellar is awesome. These guys didn't get a lot of credit for being very, very good musicians, but they knew their stuff. I saw them on this tour and they were great.
I belive in my opinon Robin Crosby was Just as good as Warren DeMartini....thats like saying The Scorpions didnt need two guitarist Rudolf Schenker just as good as Matthias Jabs. Listen to Wanted Man or Back For More or ANY Ratt song the rythms just go with the leads and the lead with the rythm. Its just amazing guitar by both players. I dont think it would have been the same if there was one and not another.
Robin was a heroin addict, and after three records was an albatrosse around the neck of the band. Very sad considering Ratt was Robin's, Warren' s and Stephen dream. Yet going back to the EP, or Up from the Celler, I can appreciate the fact that Ratt is a 2 guitarist band. And I'm sorry Robin is dead, and not playing with the band he helped start.
@WakeUpDead2012 I (still) love RATT but even I have I have to admit that Robbin was weak player. The Scorpions analogy doesn't quite fit. Rudolf wasn't as *fast* a lead player as Matthias, but he was the group's main songwriter, a great rhythm player, and a decent lead player in a slow-hand kinda way. As anyone can see from Cellar, Robbin had potential both as a songwriter and a lead player, but decided he liked to shoot smack better than play guitar. And it shows on the subsequent albums.
RATT is making a new cd, and it is coming out in early 2009, there are rumours that it will be called RATT Comes Back, i found out about it on wikipedia just now, i am so excited about the new cd!!!
