@AaAaSRB i dont know if youre going to answer, but today i restarted my pc. And i tried to open hl2 from the garrys mod final folder. Then it said something like error file gaminfo not found which was New to me. Then i tried opening the shortcut on my desktop and it worked. While it was loading steam opened up automaticaly because my pc was still busy starting...... So i got the error i didnt bought the game. Then i retried, and i had the exact same steam.dll error.........

@Thetonytheman So if u want to play it and u dont need Steam just uninstall it...But if u need it try to find someone that has GMod on Steam and ask him to send u his Steam.dll then replace it with yours. If u have another problem feel free to message me.

@SanMono9 well it depends on your computer. I also have a windows 7, but cannot get on it for it is password protected. (parents) I do have a crappy 2004 Windows XP that I updated to work everything properly. Anyway, you need to search for C:\ProgramFilesx86\ THEN you go to your steam account and do the rest.

Ok..I'll show you how to add content to gmod without needing to edit the .rev. 1st: Download the CONTENT_GCFs. 2nd: Download GCFscape. 3rd: After your content torrent download finished,open it up and ONLY click CONTENT_GCFs. 4th: Make sure all the game contents are checked and their folders are in the addons folder. 5th: Extract each GCFs to its respective folders in Addons. And there,you get ALL CSS,DOD maps,props,ragdolls. Thumbs up if it works
