    Hahahaha, great video guys. :)

  • I collect knifes myself and since now i own 7 cold steel knifes and 2 machettes and i am about to buy san mai III bowie, and i have to say that cold steel knifes are very very good knifes, but quys in CS please make a karambit like tiger (which i own), but with a smaller double edged blade, this could be fine !!! Thanks

  • i'm all over this knife! for 20 dollars it very well may be the best value in the cutting tools anywhere.

  • can you put the weight on the description on your csknives vid. it would be really helpful to us would be buyers.. thanks

  • @ilikewasabe The G I Tanto weighs 10.6 oz.

  • It seems to me that the 'ihatecoldsteel' fellow seems to have a very tiny penis.

  • @grant9908

haha he probably works for strider :)

  • fuck you can do everything but brush your teeth with it!

  • this knife looks okay, full tang i like, aslong as the blade holds its edge, most of their other items are crap though, id much rather have a SOG knife for the price of a Cold Steel knife, much better quality from SOG

  • very good but can it cut me some steaks?

  • @ihatecoldsteel If you've been blocked it's because you were being offensive. I don't think anyone is going to miss the biased opinion of someone called "ihatecoldsteel". Go troll elsewhere.

  • @ihatecoldsteel why do they have problems? send me a private message if u want

  • @rudiratte1 We dont have problems - check the name of the commenter (ihatecoldsteel) this person has been spamming our page with abusive comments and was subsequently blocked.

  • @ihatecoldsteel WOW, you are fucking Retarded! Really.

  • @ihatecoldsteel

I only carry cold steel, i have years of experience in knives and i have tried many from almost every company, but most of them failed to compare to the quality, price and customer service CS knives holds in most cases. I'm carrying a SOG seal pup in my boot and a recon tanto. (canadian army)

  • @TheOnlySambrosa thanks for choosing Cold Steel. I'm proud that our product is there for you when needed.

  • .

i am a constructionworker/welder and i use this knife a lot of times even as a litle crowbar on the job.some scratches on the black paint but thats it

  • This knife loses in quality to SRK?

  • @pakitobsb It's a very different knife. As it's also used as a thrower it's designed differently

  • @csknives Is the same steel?

  • @pakitobsb No, the SRK is AUS8A Stainless, the GI Tanto is 1055 Carbon

  • getting the gi for my lbe vest setup im doing its just about perfect for my needs

  • who eats all this meat?

  • @dieHoelzer The meat utilized in this video was carefully preserved and donated to the Ventura County Rescue Mission

  • @csknives Pre-cut no less. All you gotta do is throw it on the grill.

  • 1:22

Now you pop that in the microwave and you have yourself a nice knife and a girlfriend.

  • @FictionWeLiveIn ahahahha

  • @FictionWeLiveIn lol no heheh 1:22 in the weekends I'm a par time gynaecologist. hehe lol

  • GI bowie is beautiful idea

  • Throwers get all the fun.

  • GI BOWIE!!!!!

  • thats 6 bucks at the flea market

  • The knife shows some good durability,I think for what I do it'll be on my to buy list.Thanx for the post.

  • 0:30 anyone more than me want to see the steel rod burst?

  • i wonder if they ever snap knives when they flex them

  • i love this knife its amazing

  • Good to know i can cook up a steak with this knife. Go to Cold Steel for multiple uses.

  • DAMN now i want one of THESE i just bought a shanghai shadow

  • 0:43 *winces

  • @LWRCftw ha you and me both

  • Comment removed

  • i bought one of these a while back (maybe 2-3 months ago)

yesterday i used it for first time and as i was hacking away one of the screws came out of the handle (only on one end and on left side if u point it away from u) how can i get another one of these screws

is cold steel willing to send one or will any allen key type screw or bolt of same side work??

  • @TheOriginalSourBanan Another flaw... thanks for telling. How's the performance?

  • @foreign010 from what i used it for quite good i threw it a couple times and it sticks great and u can use it as an axe if u want to it kinda ridiculous i was doing more damage to a pine tree trunk with this knife then my friends was doing with his hatchet

  • awesome, the guy throwing the knives leans forward so far he could almost push them in with his hand.

  • @DENMONKEY Even when he does lean in he is still like 10 ft away from the target, which is a realistic distance if you, god forbid, need to use the knife against a human.

  • i dont need a knife i have the hammers god gave me.

  • DIY Fleshlight at 01:22 :D

  • How much does it cost?

  • @MySilentAss about $30

  • @ :59..... It looks like he's spreading a girl's woo-hoo!

  • Just got mine the other day, and I was able to cut the shit out of a bag of meat!

  • 0:58 looks like a poonanny

  • Honestly, I don't like the GI Tanto, but I'd gladly buy a dozen of them if Cold Steel would just bring back the War Head. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it when I had the chance.

  • Pause the vid, press 6. It looks like a vagina.

  • ripp off !!!! Lynn Thompson just steels other peoples designs....

  • They never boing it at 0:52

  • Is this or the shang hai shadow stronger?

  • Press 1 repeatedly.

    Pickle or what?

  • @buttercow12 lol

    Nice one. :D

    picklepicklepicklepicklepickle!!

  • hehe i schabowe potem :d

  • press 6 for the snatch hole

  • is it legal in california???? plz reply

  • It looks like the knife that you use at the end of Modern Warfare 2

  • 0:53 why they don.t show how knife looks after that ... ;)

  • @5kilz Actually not that bad! There are reviews where you can see that and more (by noss4).

  • why dont they have a video for the kobun?????

  • Thumbs up if cold steel should make a Gi Bowie

  • @bagman234 I made one, I had to grind it myself though it's not too tough to do. Check it out.

  • @bagman234 They do, It's called the "Perfect balance Thrower"

  • @TacticalAngel86 Not exactly I like the overall shape of the GI tanto I just want a budget knife with a little more survival function rather than just a fighting knife. The leatherneck is a better choice, good job cold steel.

  • after coldsteel is done with all their testing on meat, the employees probably have some good cookouts!

  • kill everybody!!!

  • they should make a vid of all there products cuss i watched these all!

  • 0:57 - 1:00 reminds me about downloading some new pr0n

  • I really want one of these knives, but after I get the Kukri machete first. I wish they made a bowie shaped knife at this price.

  • @mustangx218 there's the bowie machete, made from the same 1055 steel. it's discontinued, but you can still find it

  • of course those meats are easy to cut, flesh gets soft after the animal is dead, so is bone

  • @jabames Well obviously they aren't going to try this on a living specimen.

  • @Aqualiteking yeah i know

  • Would this be a better fighter if it had a thicker spine and had a belly like the other CS tantos? It has width and it can rip and snap cut with the secondary point and back clip. That is pretty versatile killer, but I don't imagine it can slice very well with no belly.

  • whip cream pouring like waterfalls

  • My goddamn kitchen knives can cut through meat Jeez.

  • 1:29 I'll have to say, this sums up the entire reason I even looked this video up. I was wondering why this blade is balanced quite nicely, and now I know. And knowing is half the battle! The other being the makers of this very fine blade.

  • The original design of the GI Tanto came with a green paracord covered handle with leather inserts. I have a few of these and I like the new black handle more since it matches the black blade and feels better to hold. Also the bolts can be removed to change the handle or convert it to a spear (though I haven't attempted it). I love this knife, it met all my expectations and it was under 25 bucks.

  • I WOULD SAY IF YOU TOOK OFF THAT CHEAP LOOKING HANDLE AND COVERD IT WITH A COUPLE OF LAYERS OF PARACORD IT WOULD LOOK SO MUCH BETTER !!

  • @DJJimCowley No way man I have the naga kris and it has the PARACORD handle. With this handle you never have to worry about it falling apart. and if you want more grip just use hokey tape.

  • @ak47a Cool bro ile try that !

  • how much does it cost?

  • @andreaiscoolerthanyo like 20 bucks

  • is this legal to carry in texas

  • @alecbouton What isn't?

  • do they want me to go n kill someone :O

  • You don't carry a knife to take a life, you carry a knife to save a life.

When your being mugged, you'll be glad you have a Cold Steal (or Gerber :P) knife at your side.

  • @shelltech83

I agreed with you comment until you mentioned Gerber. Gerber is high priced land fill material

  • @shelltech83 Isn't that way too lethal?

  • @divinegod102 theres never such a thing as too lethal

  • @shelltech83 How about: Don't carry a knife to save a life, carry a baton and CS spray. More effective against knifes and less lethal. Just more bulky... :S

  • @SVKmellow Baton? Sure, if you're for it. It makes a great self defense tool. However, knifes are more useful since people actually use them for utility and can double for defense when needed. Spray is unreliable. It is messy and wind can throw it anywhere (at you too). If the guy is hyped up on drugs, or is motivated enough, he will still get to you despite being sprayed.

  • @shelltech83 i would rather have a 44. caliber barel to shove in the mugs face

  • @bladedweapons bullshit if you put a gun in a mans mouth you got to have balls and not be a pussy to just threat him a knife is perfect slash his face he will remember you forever shoot some one in the face and you will be a long time in the booty house and remember once there haha you wont have a .44

  • @shelltech83 Cold Steal D: best pun ever

  • @shelltech83 wow I don't even remember posting this

  • @shelltech83 Or k-bar

  • @jinnd319 yes or k-bar but they are expensive

  • @shelltech83 pocket knives are cheaper and just as good if not better. machetes were around the same price last time I checked. Cold steel is more expensive in my opinion.

  • @shelltech83 it's ka bar buddy boy

  • @shelltech83 You spelled steel wrong. Also Gerber makes some shitty knives, unless you like their little tiny blade'd folding knives.

  • @shelltech83 so if the guy carry a knife who is a crime???

  • @shelltech83 My 6 inch ti lite saved my life a month ago. I totally agree =)

  • At 1:00. Now what does it look like he's doing there?

  • as a bag of meat hanging from a hook this video scares the shit out of me

  • @dafydd93

i think being the bag of meat would be a heck of a lot worse

  • @dafydd93

As a wooden bullseye, i share your feelings.

  • i wish it came with a kydex sheath

  • @gunznknivez ...and other type of handle material G10 or Micarta with 3D texturing for better grip.

  • I have had one for two years. It's graet for everything outdoors. & stays sharp FOREVER !

  • murder has never been so silent and easy as with these knives

  • Is that what you'd do?

  • no inteligent person uses nives to murder some they leave the most evidence but i wold expect your to know that

  • @hahayouknowme33

    Most inteligent people don'l murder.

  • @awakeindeath Most serial killers are really smart.

  • @hahayouknowme33 a gun leaves less evidence than a knife? im guessing you never watch Dexter or CSI

  • @bagman234, yes i have sean those shows in fact i study them, it dapends on what kind of gun u use a "revolver" doesnt drop its shels like other guns leaving no shels which is the only evidence you need to wory about when shooting some one, knives on the other hand spread blood every where and you have to rpitty much get rid of the knife if you dont wnna get cought.

  • @hahayouknowme33 each gun leaves unique scratches on the bullet like a fingerprint, if you are a suspect they can take your gun with a warrent and tell if it came from yours or another one, and a gun also leaves gun powder on the crime scene, and all over your body, as well as spray blood like a knife.all you need to do to remove evidence from a knife is dip it in bleach or burn it to remove dna, do you think a serial killer like dexter would do as well with guns rather than knives?

  • @bagman234, then the same aplies torwarrd knives that also leave distinguished cuts, the gun powder thing is bull, and it dapens on the situation a gun is just much cleaner kill and you dont have to make hand to hand contact. i still understand the uniqe ness of knive i saw dark knight and heard jokers qoute about them

  • @hahayouknowme33 then please tell me why most murders commited with firearms are solved because the bullet is traced to the owner? at the very least a knife makes more economic sense because people can spend $500 on a handgun or $20 on a knife they can make disappear after the event

  • @bagman234, well if it was me id use a stolen gun with stolen bullets if i was planing the murder,. and the reason most murders are with knives is because its the most available not the best choice.

  • @hahayouknowme33 if you try to steal a gun you risk being shot yourself, and you can draw a lot of attention to yourself if you are arrested for stealing a firearm, or even if you are caught with one not registered to you, so it would be almost impossible to get away with murder no matter how careful you are to cover evidence. its true knives are the more available, but that does not make them any less effective. also i would not murder anyone, i would only ever kill in self defense

  • @hahayouknowme33 what makes you think that knives are responsible for most murders...

  • @TheJoshy1992 He is quoting the joker as if he was a real person, don't expect much sense. Actually humans are responsible for 100% of all murders. Inanimate objects don't kill people.
