Well, I'll take being lost because I've enjoyed Motley's music for decades now. It's my personal opinion and nobody can say that's wrong. Music is up to the listener to distinguish between good and bad and if you prefer George Michael and Culture Club, then have at it brother!

While I have no problem with what they did with Corabi, I can see where management was coming from regarding studio costs during these sessions. They seem to have spent alot of time just fucking around, goofing off, and doing freeform blues jams......which drove studio costs and time spent getting the record done WAY UP.

Worst bass player?? Nikki is by no means in the same league as someone like Flea, but who is?? Nikki is first and foremost a great songwriter and a very proficient and solid bass player. Oh and by the way his band has sold somewhere in the neighbourhood of 60 million albums, so I'm sure he's not upset about not being compared to Stu Hamm or Billy Sheehan.

I've talked to both Tommy and Mick and the album with Corabi is their personal favorite in the MC catalog.  Nobody was unhappy with Corabi in the band - all it came down to in the end was MONEY! Creatively they had a blast with Crabby.

I read an interview with Tommy around the time that Randy Castillo was in the band, and he said one of the reasons he left at that time was because he felt that they should have been building on the direction of the Corabi album rather than trying to recapture the past. I though Mick displayed his talents as a lead player so well here. The major disappointment for me was that John never got his due as a songwriter and vocalist after this. I like Union but not as much as The Scream or Motley.
