  • Me and my family know all about it. My husband of 20 years has suffered 3 long spells of these s.o.b's. They don't just hurt the sufferer. Clusters, I can't even call them headaches, also affect those who love them. He once broke a blade off a ceiling fan and beat himself over the head with it during an attack.

  • sounding morbid but there needs to be a suicide clinic for those that cant cope anymore? and b4 one of u fuckers comes up with some smart-ass comment about god and his gift of life i would like u to think about having this pain in ur life. just imagine it! if i were one of them sufferers thats what i would like!

  • SE LLAMA SEFALE DE HORTON O DOLOR DE CABEZA SUICIDA!!! SUFRO DE ESO!!!

  • Thanks for your message. I was never episodic, I went straight into the chronic side of things. Quite unusual so I here. It's now nearly 5 years and I'm still trying to smile. Having a loving wife and 6 and 4 year old boys has really helped me, as well as family and friends. I have had the ONSI op done, but so far it hasn't done too much. It's been 8 months and I was told that it could take up to 12 months or so to work effectively. We'll see.

  • I shed a tear while watching this video, and I'm a fullgrown man. This is unbelievable. More people should be aware of this. I can't even imagine how that feels.

I wish you the best of luck in life.

  • your pain is not in vain. I feel alot more greatful, thank to you, but i am so sorry.

  • I was looking for "normal" headache cures, and I came across these videos of you poor, poor people. I can't even imagine. I shed tears for you all :'(

without drugs ,Without Oxygen and without herbs

  • You are the only person in the world who knows the cause of cluster headaches. Maybe you should let everybody know.

  • Been here. I get them for a few weeks every few years. "Suicide pain" sums it up.

Making all that noise, doesn't help though. Seriously! I feel for you, but the noise won't help, cry into yourself.

  • you are just being an arse now really!

  • If someone held your hand in hot oil screaming wont help but no one is strong enough not to cry out when experiencing pain that overcomes all of their endorphin levels. Perhaps your headaches are terrible but his stronger?

Impossible to calculate so don't judge. As a midwife, I truly believer that in order to birth one mist be mentally prepared for the pain; I also see how some birth are so much more painful than others, regardless of individuals pain tolerances.

  • There is a very effective treatment ... effective in relieving completely in 60 % cases. It is Oxygen 100% with mask @ 15L/min for 15 min. I have treated a lot of patients with it . Just today a an infantry officer was treated by me and he was extremely grateful to me.

  • I honestly don't think I'd be able to go through that; I'd most likely turn to suicide. I'm sorry, but that is honestly looks like Hell on Earth.

  • i have the same think! the pain is horrible!!!

  • poor guy, i really feel for him, i get neuralgia and it freaking hurts, but its not as bad as his, man!!

  • =`(

  • yeah i know how it feels ween my attacks come i stay in the dark ids helping kinda

  • holy sht

  • un video straziante ma vero.....solochi loha puù capire....facciamoci forza ragazzi....io lo chiamo....."u merda"....prima o poi tireremo la catenella del cesso.....

  • dude, if i had this i would be on every drug in the world, lsd, weed, heroin, anything to make this go away, this really breaks my heart that a human would have to endure such daily torture

  • Have you tried dabbing your forehead with a wet tissue?

  • You are kidding right?

  • i had these before they do hurt just a tad lol i slammed my head into walls

  • maybe it's something in the atmosphere, it seems like more and more people are coming forth with these headaches now. when i first started getting them in 1990, i thought i was the only person in the world with them. one thing i do to relieve my cluster headaches when at home is run cold water over the area that pains the most until i get that icy burn feel. it takes away the headaches most times, but sometimes it just lessens the pain.

  • Thank you for this and You Tube in 1998 I shot myself in the foot with a very big gun to take away the pain. I was a paramedic begging Dr.'s to help and they did not understand. Many Dr.'s stated I was seeking drugs. In 98 I was lock away in an institution for a month and almost for life. I had to go to court to prove I was not insane? Now Dr.'s and people are hearing about Cluster Headaches. I am still fighting with you and pray that we can raise money for a cure. Thank You

  • IL DOLORE e' brutale. Son vicina a tutti coloro che convivono con questa malattia .

    FORZA!

  • Im so sorry for You. My husband has theese attacks, not so often but it´s terrible to watch and not being able to do anything to help. He takes Isoptin to prevent the attacks to come and as soon as he feels the slightest pain above hes right eye, or if his a little bit stressed, he takes Stesolid. I feel for You. Take care.

  • Hello my brother in pain. Thank you for showing the world what happen to us. And be proud of your women thats she has the strength to stay at your side and even try to be helpfull. My wife wasn´t that strong and left me with my two young childs. Wish you and your family all the best and painless times

  • For anybody that's interested, there's a fantastic organisation called, OUCH, ( Organisation of Understanding Cluster Headaches ). There is a brilliant forum on there with fellow sufferers as well as a helpline, should you need instant help. There is also a news letter, regular meetings, charity events, and information from specialists like Peter Goadsby.

I couldn't be without it. It's helped me through some very bad times.

    Hope this helps somebody.

  • thank you so much.

  • I've been a Chronic sufferer for more than three years now with no relief at all and at least 3 attacks a day. I take oxygen, Imigran injections, Topiramate, Indometacin, Amlodipine, and Melatonin.

This disease totally controls your life. It effects not only family members, but friends as well. It also effects people in very different ways and not one person suffers in the same way, so it's no good saying it works for you and wondering why it doesn't for others. The Beast always wins!!

  • @topiramates

I began having isolated attacks in my teens and early 20's. In my late 20's they started happening in cycles of 6 weeks every year or so (2-8 a day.) I had countless CT and MRI scans without any indication of any abnormalities.

My question is...were you always chronic or did you become chronic after first being episodic. I am very concerned as my cycles have been increasing as the "down time" between these cycles decreases as I age.

God bless us from this demon in our heads.

  • I'd like to gouge your left out eye with a rusty spoon and skull fuck you with an acetylene torch so you'd know what it's like...

  • A perfect description. May any woman that says childbirth is worse be cursed with these!

  • Women say its worse than childbirth. Why dont you try giving a baby a couple times a day and see whos crying then? WORST PAIN TO EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD SO DONT EVEN SAY A THING!

  • @DILLE1994 Go fuck yourself. You'll never know real physical pain.

    Well said, BigDanWoT.

  • so so sorry. i feel your pain. i too have longterm chronic CH. no one knows this pain unless theyve experienced it a hundred times. it truly is hell. some times i wonder if thats wher i am now. there is no pretending here, it doesnt matter whos there. some of my worst attacks were when i felt obligated to try and hide them.there is no hidding this pain. it literally is the single most horrible pain known to medical science.females who suffer say its worst than child birth. i give birth every day

  • It;s been three years... and there back!!

Yes, oxygen works!! I suffered for twelve years without any relief!! Wikipedia has ansewers!!! Section 5 "Non-established and research approches" the answer is there...It works!!! believe it!! I tried it!!

Stop wasting time and money at the doctor and on medications that only work sometimes!! I've gone two months without an attack and am due for another "treatment". I only wish I knew earlier!! Hang in there!! A must for chronic CH sufferers!!

  • guys i've been into indomethicine for two weeks now.... NOT A SINGLE ATTACK THANK GOD !!!

  • EEG (electroencephalograph) neurofeedback training will prevent this.

  • i feel with you. terrible life.

  • I feel for you, im in a cycle now. Had them since i was 12. I am 34 now. WTF

    WHO DID THIS TO US?

    WHAT DID THIS TO US?

    WHY?

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PRETEND ITS NOT HAPPENING?

COULD YOU FAKE THAT YOU ARE NOT HAVING ONE IF YOU NEEDED TO?

WHATS THE WORST SITUATION YOUVE BEEN IN WITH ONE?

IF I PULL MY EYEBALL OUT AND GRAB THAT VEIN AND PULL IT OUT AND PUT EVERYTHING BACK BUT THAT ONE VEIN, WOULD THAT WORK?

  • I hear you buddy...every single word. I've been copping these demons for 13 - 14 years now with 2 solid cycles per year. I'm so lucky I have an understanding supportive partner who does everything he can to help. A word to the wise: if you're partner isn't supportive and patient, organise to be by yourself until the cycle is over. My previous partner used to yell at me and had no compassion whatsoever. Believe it or not, it actually made it worse.

  • Thank god that isn't your partner anymore!

  • I can relate. Been a sufferer for about 8 years, and each cycle gets worse. I'm in the middle of a bout right now, as of the last 45 days or so, and each cycle gets worse than the last. 8-10 on the scale this time. I dread the next cycle.

You really do become a completely different person like Jeckyl and Hyde when the beast attacks, and anyone that gets in your way or doesn't understand makes you think or say things you normally wouldn't.

  • looking at how sufferers react to the pain makes me think that id say anything at the time to people in my way-of course i would.

ive read that this is apparently the worst pain known to man without a tumor, a decapitation or anything like that.

  • far out!! how on earth can someone not be compassionate?

    whats wrong with her!!!!!!!!

im sure she would want you to be by her side during child birth, well this is said to be worse than child birth o_O

  • There is a new post from the Spaniard on clusterheadaches(dot)com. He claims relief by raising the arms above the head and pumping the fists. Check it out!

  • I suffered through every second of that video! Please try a tank of oxygen. It works for me!!

Dick in PA (sides have switched over the years; currently right side but never far from my oxygen tank)

  • I had a CH attack once. Just once.

    That was enough.

  • wasnt CH sorry man. prolly just a real bad migraine. im sure it was still bad though. head pain is the worst pain one can experience, nothing seems more real. nothing seems more unreal

  • @NotedStrangePerson You don't have just one Cluster headache.

  • Almost two years pain free. I dread my next episode. Every time I basically have to start life over. I've lost jobs, relationships, and friends to this dreaded curse. I've been viewed as a drug addict by pharmacists too lazy to even look up a condition. My prayers go out to those who understand the misery. I am thankful for every break I have. Two golden years away from that dreaded demon.

  • And what have you done? Any medicine? I have an almost chronic CH.

  • Grow shrooms dude

  • o my god

  • CH sufferer here on the right side. When I am in my cycle I take Verapamil 120mg a day and Zomig 5gm as soon as I feel one coming on. I do not wish this pain on anybody.

  • the world needs cures and reasons for this terrible disease.. It seems to be way to painful and I've heard from women who have been through labor, they consider this even more painful than that.. damn.

  • friend, i am a left of the face sufferer.when the pain goes, do you ever think ''what was i moaning about''.it is comforting knowing that there are other people who suffer from our problem.

  • Left hand sufferer 20+years.I hear ya bro !I've seen my wife and four kids cry while I battle the DEMON.

  • WHat the heck is wrong with you!?

  • I hope you get a little taste of it one day.

  • good luck francesco58 . i hope urs pain dont back ...

  • Francesco,

What magic did the neurologists at the Institute Carlo Besta give you? Do you have photos of your O2? I need to see the intake and exhaust flapper valves. 3000 liters/day should have been enough O2 for 4 to 7 attacks like shown in your video depending on how soon you start O2 therapy. How many attacks were you having in a day? Sorry to be asking so many questions, but we need to know why O2 therapy was not working to abort your CH attacks.

Thank you and take care, Batch

  • Keep up the good fight my brother. Your not alone.

    Matt

  • Francesco,

I am so sorry that you are suffering with this horrible disease. Cluster Headaches are a terrible thing. May I ask if you have seen a neurologist? If you have and he has diagnosed you as having Cluster Headaches ask for Oxygen as an abortive. Ask for 100% pure oxygen at 15 lpm with a non rebreather mask. I've included a video that shows me having an attack like yours along side a video of an attack being aborted using oxygen. Thank you for being so brave.

  • Hi Tony,

first of all, thanks to have added me in the list of your friends.

I am suffering of CH from about 20 years, from 1988 to 1999 periodical, after she has become chronic, I am sure to have tried everything to have some relief.

Since many years I use Oxygen (3000/6000Lt daily), 4x120 Isoptin, 4x400 Neurontin(new entry) and Imigran,

and fortunately somehow they make me go on.

The neurologists of the Institute Carlo Besta in Milano take care of my CH.

    Pain free

  • I have decided to publish the video because in the past I had the "necessity" to SEE some other sufferer to have the confirmation that I also have the same problem . There is not a lot of "local" information about Cluster Headache and the sufferers can not be understood, to tangibly SEE what the CH is, may can help people to understand better with what we have to fight, for this I thank all the "gladiators" that have published their own video.

    Pain free whishes

    PS: forgive my English

  • Francesco,
