@feralaesthetic who am i to judge? well, to start, i've had to work for everything i have, i just lost my grandfather a few months back and had to clean his farm by hand. try lifting 300+ pound farm equipment every day for two months, while also going to school for 7 hours a day, not to mention holding down a job at a very demanding restaurant. once all is said and done for me, i'm gonna have to build a house with just one other person. trust me, i've been to every bottom society has to offer.

@trifulquita15 I'm sorry but you have really taken it out of proportion. Cannabis does not cause people to smoke it constantly. I work full time, I don't sit around smoking cannabis non-stop. Alcohol is far more addictive and the majority of people don't drink all day.
There will always be those who abuse the drug (like alcoholics), just as some people over-eat and some people over-exercise. The best way to solve this problem is through the healthcare system.

@trifulquita15 Drug abuse is not the cause of peoples problems, it is the result of them. Admittedly in most cases drugs do not help the situation, but if they didn't have drugs they would find another way of hiding from their issues.
Drugs being illegal also does not help the situation, you just make criminals of people who need your help. Let the healthcare system take care of these people, not the justice system. Criminalising people only puts them in an even deeper hole.

@feralaesthetic who am i to judge? well, to start, i've had to work for everything i have, i just lost my grandfather a few months back and had to clean his farm by hand. try lifting 300+ pound farm equipment every day for two months, while also going to school for 7 hours a day, not to mention holding down a job at a very demanding restaurant. once all is said and done for me, i'm gonna have to build a house with just one other person. trust me, i've been to every bottom society has to offer.
