OMG! You can say that was good D all you want, but w/o the help defender at the rim those 5 cossovers gets him an easy layup! A some point staying in front of your guy means nothing unless you actually stop him. Backing up all the way from the 3pt line to under the rim is a good example.

Thats the point guard deron is, he doesn't need to dunk everytime and he has found that using his skills to get better shots for his teammates works out alot better than a nuggets-type of offense. Which is why utah dominated them in the playoffs 4-2

You see...there are many lightning-quick PG's in the league, but there are few that are able to control their speeds like chris paul. Many PG's operate at full speed all the time, whilst chris changes his pace a lot.

Also Chris paul reads the defensive flaws and attacks accordingly. Many other PG's just commit to a move and pray that it'll work.
