damn, this fight scene is so f-ing awesome, it's sweet how the music just kicks in once they fly in the sky.

This series uses the music to a potent effect by not having any sound whatso ever and then having music just kick in out of nowhere.

Afro Samurai is sweet. But the fight scenes are way too quick. He always manages to kill his enemies with only one or two sword strikes. And I know that just proves how skilled he is, but I want violence dammit, and lots of it.

Dude, did you even watch the series? Afro Samurai is incredibly violent.

Also, in all major fights Afro generally gets his ass kicked before downing his foe. Add the fact that Afro hardly ever wins any major fights via conventional means (slashing his sword), the fight scenes are more than sufficient IMO.
