This has to be the only anime that ive watched like 8 times over and never got bored with it. The only other anime that would be close to that is Flcl which i watched 5 times over.

Notice how all three of the characters sitting in those chairs are the ones who've used a Giga Drill Break, which proves that to achieve god hood in Gurren Lagann, you must use that move first, even if you die afterwards.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the show, I don't like japanese humor, so it has it's "facepalm" or "why do i watch this embarrasing shit" moments, it's still awesome if you see the whole picture though.
I'm absolutely sure the soundtrack is the most important thing, the whole show was mediorce as fuck until THIS started playing during EP 8.
In a way, I don't even see scenes when hearing this, but a HUGE orchestra playing with all it's might with Kamina as the maestro.
even if in the year 2034 or 2422 and our world is more futuristic we will still remember Gurren Lagann as one of the animes that reminds that we are humans who improve from our experience we bleed,we cry,we feel depressed when we screw up on something in our life but we learn from them and we improve in many ways possible

Characters - Perfect.
Storyline - a bit Less then Perfect.

I have been rehearsing for a school play the past several weeks. While i'm confident in myself, I still get nervous before a big audience. But this show reminds me to KICK REASON TO THE CURB AND HOLD NOTHING BACK!!! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!?! I BELIEVE IN THE ME THAT BELIEVES IN MYSELF!!! Don't get me wrong, I really like the show, I don't like japanese humor, so it has it's "facepalm" or "why do i watch this embarrasing shit" moments, it's still awesome if you see the whole picture though.
I'm absolutely sure the soundtrack is the most important thing, the whole show was mediorce as fuck until THIS started playing during EP 8.
In a way, I don't even see scenes when hearing this, but a HUGE orchestra playing with all it's might with Kamina as the maestro.
