  • Very, very nice picking! Beautiful guitar! It's nice to see someone having fun laying music! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thom, I really don't care about your "Cheeseburgers" or anything else you do to make yourself happy. We all have our quirks but I do wish you good health and I thank you from the bottom of my Heart for your wonderful contribution to the musical world. Be well my friend and Thank you very much. You are truly talented....:)

  • Ha ha, that was so cool!

  • Really enjoyed getting to see you sing and play with the new guitar. I'm another guitar picking fa and really enjoy your music. All the best, Tom

  • Fantastic! What LEGEND this guy really is. I have been playing and studying the guitar 10 years now, its these sort of guys that make me want me to pick up the guitar and just play and play and play

  • God bless you Thom.... keep it going...

  • Your music; your guitar picking; are incredible, thanks for all the music

  • i like the "i play in my underpants" style !

  • His facial expressions are the same of his father when singin'. Very brilliant guitarist.

  • what kind of strings do you use for this kind of playing?

  • Thom, whatever happened to the old '38 Martin with the Bigsby neck, the one you played on the training video? When are you going to make another one, I wore this one out. Mibourne

Smoke, smoke, smoke and if you smoke yourself to death; Tell St. Peter at the golden gate, that you'll haaaave to make him wait, cause you've got to have another cigarette.....dat dat datat dat! lol

  • @TWilly1980 , You have entered into a life of fun, if you have taken up the guitar. I bought a Merle record in 1949 and learened "Dicorce me COD". Ibeen trying to pick that style all of my life and I guess Breshman had a better teacher than I. lol

Stay with that guitar, man! It will be with you when all else has started to fade away!

  • If John Henry hadn't been a "steel-drivin' man" and had used that hammer on coal he would still be swinging it today!. Great clip- wonderful guitar and fantastic sound and performance.

  • Bresh, my name is jb. My brother is now 32. He idolizes you and your pop's merle. His name is jeff and he used to study your instructional videos as a kid. Now, he sounds alit like you but missing some of the fine tuning. we also knew pat travis, we are in fort worth, texas. your great and long live TRUE travis style!

  • Hi Thom, I think that I would never have picked up a guitar had it not been for your inspiration and for that I thank you...

  • Ahhhh... sorry... that was a bit rude of me. You play beautifully.

  • Thom, it ain't gonna be the 9-pound hammer that gets you, it's gonna be the triple-cheeseburgers and beer!

  • I don't drink beer..

  • @BreshDigitalTV is this fret kilr `?

  • @MasterKarlKani i was thinking the same thing.

  • @BreshDigitalTV dude are you fretkilr ??? ;O

  • @SunsetSix

fuck you. he's playing a guitar and he's doing an incredible job. he's not sitting there drinking beer and cheesburgers, that's un-called for. wtf man

  • Congrats on your beautiful piece of art there. Excellent pickin!

  • You would make Merle proud!

  • I saw Thom on one Chet Atkins' Austin City Limits shows in the 80s, and he blew me away. A great singer, a great entertainer, and a genius guitarist: the TOTAL musical package.

  • Your playing always make me feel happy inside!

  • AWESOME

  • My God! You make it look so easy man! What skill!

  • I like this song oo really you are the best player in the world

  • I love Thom! But have a look at Tommy Emmanuels version of this song too :)

  • That was an awesome performance of 9 Pound Hammer! Best I've heard!

  • God bless ya!

  • Good stuff. I'm sure you might know, what's the deal with the immensly weird shapped pickguard? who thought that up originally

  • I think it's to match the headstock shape.

Bigsby was a good friend of Leo Fender, so

guess where Leo got the idea for his Fender

    Stratocaster headstock design. Leo couldn't

play guitar, by the way, but he sure could

build them (electrics, that is. I've never

played a Fender acoustic that I would want

to own). Just my little 2 cents. :)

  • Awesome, what a groove. You're the boss.

    Cheer Max in the UK
