They both mirror one another now. Standing by the farmhouse door with Jeffery and Josh at .53 They both have their arms crossed. They have been doing this in a few episodes. 2-16 1:31 in the kitchen after Olivia's Philip freak out, and 2-25 .44 hands over mouth during the baby shower talk.
AND I can't wait for them to have their first argument as an official couple (as long as it's not too serious). Now they can transfer all that fighting passion into something more fun. :)
I think Otalia will only be on Tues, Wed and Friday of this week. Remember CC only works 1 or 2 days a week b/c of her commute from the west to the east coast. I think we'll get a lot in those 3 days though. I've very excited about what we'll see this week!!
allison, I believe Chappell moved BACK to the East coast, after she re-signed her contract not too long ago. I think we would be seeing her a whole lot less if she was on the west coast still. I think it was just something she and her hubby were trying out, the West Coast thing.
Regardless of any de-gaying in her past, I think if Nat ever gets to the point of accepting her feelings and acting on them, she will be assertive. She already goes toe to toe with Olivia in their arguments ... I think if Olivia is the "alpha" in their relationship, it will only be because Natalia lets her (and likes it). :)
I'm still thinking Natalia went through a de-gaying religious boot-camp, which would mean when she unthawing she could be the assertive one in the physical relationship.....Not that would be a fun turn for Olivia and us to watch! :)
Yeah, see what you're saying MUDPIE - that would be a wasted opportunity for some great scenes. I guess they've spent many hours discussing how to deal with JL's maternity L - it'll all be decided now and we'll just have to wait and see. God, agony!
My only concern with getting Otalia together, officially, before JL goes on maternity leave would be that we would miss their "honeymoon" period, ya know. If they get them together and then send one or both off on a family vacation, etc., we'll miss all the first-timeyness of everything. That's my fear anyway... because even if they do get them together, it remains to be be seen how "together" they'll let them be onscreen.
Ditto as well. I definitely believe they will be together, but the pregnancy serves as an excellent opportunity to censor the romance, and, let's face it, we're lucky to have this story even at all. The honeymoon period certainly won't be spent in bed wrapped in sheets they way it is for all the other couples.

I'd say Nat wil say yes to Frank and tell Liv then Liv will not tell her anything about her feelings anymore and she won't tell Nat not to marriage Frank even though she doesn't love him coz she'll be afraid of givin herself away. Liv will think Nat has made her choice and we will try to get over it, then it'll all become too much inthe run up to the wedding and Nat might even start being more truthful with herself and one of them will make a declaration!
My tuppence worth - I suspect/hope it will play out like this. No more rushed, forced kisses from O. Frank will pop the question - N will tell O - O will say, 'no way', and tell N how she feels. She'll say, no matter whether she reciprocates the feelings, N must not marry Frank because she doesn't love him. I don't know how the maternity leave will fit, but I'm hoping it will be some kind of far flung family Holiday - Emma will be on summer break! Now that's what I call shipping!
I think in a moment of drunken courage, Olivia will kiss her again (face it, these days when does Olivia NOT have a drink in her hand). Natalia will be much more receptive yet freak out after. She'll zip off to Frank (possibly accepting a proposal since in her mind it is the lesser of two evils), he'll suggest she "get away for a bit" because even clueless Frank probably suspects something with Liv. JL goes on maternity leave.
ok, one last thought, has anyone thought about the fact with Natalia playing pool and saying there's lots of things Olivia doesn't know about her....that maybe Natalia had a great lesbian love affair and was totally burned or took religious heat from her family when they found out ...and is just plain scared to go there again? Do you think she went through a de-gaying religious program?
That is a great analysis marketResearcher22. My theory is this. Since she is Catholic, maybe she went to a Catholic School where there were two Teachers who besides being excellent at their jobs were also Roommates. Somebody found out, they were outed, and had to leave the School in disgrace. Since Natalia was a teen in the 1990's, and since she may have had a ''crush'' on one of the teachers, maybe she felt that she would be ostracized.
Let's try one more time.... I don't think Natalia would even consider Frank's proposal....though soapy, so could happen....I now think her religious meltdown was because she used a dear friend as she was scared of her love of Olivia and is trying to process it. Remember she said she was afraid of God hating her because she was a hypocrite...doing one thing, saying another ....I think the sex outside of marriage was just old words said to her coming out during a stressful time. Hang in there...
I don't think the relationship will be happening. Natalia never really expressed a romantic feeling for Olivia, just blind frienship. So it seems to be a one way love. Plus they gonna play the religion card, so there no way that they will be together. That sucked. I would love to see them together, Olivia is the best.
I don't think Natalia would consider it, but she'll probably talk to Rafe and he'll jump to the wrong conclusions, and tell her what a great guy Frank is...and so on and so forth...

I watched this ep again, and I totally think that Nat has a good idea about what Liv is going to say to her, because she looks so nervous, but still wants to hear it. And her response to Liv's first part with the quiet "ok" was like she was taking a breath before everything changed. I love Otalia, but I am glad Liv got interrupted, Nat is not ready to hear it yet, too much guilt and denial right now.

Emma was totally sweet in that episode. Natalia looked like a deer caught in headlights anytime Liv got a little serious. great acting by CC in the first part. She can make her voice falter so easily for these emotional scenes. Great to see a bit of fun too coz when things stay too heavy I get emotionally exhausted!

How about, Nat runs away, Olivia finds her at the cabin, they make up and decide to stay for a vacation..JUST as they are hit by a storm, Nat worries about Olivia (who has gone out to, erm, tie up the horses) and goes out to look for her. She falls down a well. Liv worries and goes out to find Nat, she finds her going in and out of consciousness as the well is filling with water. Liv declares her love, Nat says she feels the same JUST as she become unconscious and falls into a coma!!

They both mirror one another now. Standing by the farmhouse door with Jeffery and Josh at .53 They both have their arms crossed. They have been doing this in a few episodes. 2-16 1:31 in the kitchen after Olivia's Philip freak out, and 2-25 .44 hands over mouth during the baby shower talk.

I think Otalia will only be on Tues, Wed and Friday of this week. Remember CC only works 1 or 2 days a week b/c of her commute from the west to the east coast. I think we'll get a lot in those 3 days though. I've very excited about what we'll see this week!!

allison, I believe Chappell moved BACK to the East coast, after she re-signed her contract not too long ago. I think we would be seeing her a whole lot less if she was on the west coast still. I think it was just something she and her hubby were trying out, the West Coast thing.

Regardless of any de-gaying in her past, I think if Nat ever gets to the point of accepting her feelings and acting on them, she will be assertive. She already goes toe to toe with Olivia in their arguments ... I think if Olivia is the "alpha" in their relationship, it will only be because Natalia lets her (and likes it). :)

My only concern with getting Otalia together, officially, before JL goes on maternity leave would be that we would miss their "honeymoon" period, ya know. If they get them together and then send one or both off on a family vacation, etc., we'll miss all the first-timeyness of everything. That's my fear anyway... because even if they do get them together, it remains to be be seen how "together" they'll let them be onscreen.

Ditto as well. I definitely believe they will be together, but the pregnancy serves as an excellent opportunity to censor the romance, and, let's face it, we're lucky to have this story even at all. The honeymoon period certainly won't be spent in bed wrapped in sheets they way it is for all the other couples.
But has there ever been a love story as intense as this? Or am I just too biased to see them ;)

from everything I've read, I'm am going to politely disagree;
I think that you are going to see Olivia and Natalia in a full on romance. The writers have been constructing this love story for over a year now.
The writers have a serious commitment to Otalia...and I can't wait for the pay off.
I think the wedding will be canceled for whatever reason, and Natalia will go off to get her head together...IRL Jessica will be on maternity leave.
Nat will come back in a few weeks..ready for love

I'd say Nat wil say yes to Frank and tell Liv then Liv will not tell her anything about her feelings anymore and she won't tell Nat not to marriage Frank even though she doesn't love him coz she'll be afraid of givin herself away. Liv will think Nat has made her choice and we will try to get over it, then it'll all become too much inthe run up to the wedding and Nat might even start being more truthful with herself and one of them will make a declaration!

My tuppence worth - I suspect/hope it will play out like this. No more rushed, forced kisses from O. Frank will pop the question - N will tell O - O will say, 'no way', and tell N how she feels. She'll say, no matter whether she reciprocates the feelings, N must not marry Frank because she doesn't love him. I don't know how the maternity leave will fit, but I'm hoping it will be some kind of far flung family Holiday - Emma will be on summer break! Now that's what I call shipping!

I think in a moment of drunken courage, Olivia will kiss her again (face it, these days when does Olivia NOT have a drink in her hand). Natalia will be much more receptive yet freak out after. She'll zip off to Frank (possibly accepting a proposal since in her mind it is the lesser of two evils), he'll suggest she "get away for a bit" because even clueless Frank probably suspects something with Liv. JL goes on maternity leave.

That is a great analysis marketResearcher22. My theory is this. Since she is Catholic, maybe she went to a Catholic School where there were two Teachers who besides being excellent at their jobs were also Roommates. Somebody found out, they were outed, and had to leave the School in disgrace. Since Natalia was a teen in the 1990's, and since she may have had a ''crush'' on one of the teachers, maybe she felt that she would be ostracized.

Remember she said she was afraid of God hating her because she was a hypocrite...doing one thing, saying another ....I think the sex outside of marriage was just old words said to her coming out during a stressful time. I don't think the relationship will be happening. Natalia never really expressed a romantic feeling for Olivia, just blind frienship. So it seems to be a one way love. Plus they gonna play the religion card, so there no way that they will be together. That sucked. I would love to see them together, Olivia is the best.

I kinda thought the wedding CC referred to in her radio interview might be that of Frank and Nat. That's more soaplike, which is fine w/me!! I watched this ep again, and I totally think that Nat has a good idea about what Liv is going to say to her, because she looks so nervous, but still wants to hear it. And her response to Liv's first part with the quiet "ok" was like she was taking a breath before everything changed. I love Otalia, but I am glad Liv got interrupted, Nat is not ready to hear it yet, too much guilt and denial right now.

Emma was totally sweet in that episode. Natalia looked like a deer caught in headlights anytime Liv got a little serious. great acting by CC in the first part. She can make her voice falter so easily for these emotional scenes. Great to see a bit of fun too coz when things stay too heavy I get emotionally exhausted!

Haha.. How about, Nat runs away, Olivia finds her at the cabin, they make up and decide to stay for a vacation..JUST as they are hit by a storm, Nat worries about Olivia (who has gone out to, erm, tie up the horses) and goes out to look for her. She falls down a well. Liv worries and goes out to find Nat, she finds her going in and out of consciousness as the well is filling with water. Liv declares her love, Nat says she feels the same JUST as she become unconscious and falls into a coma!!

ROTFLMFAO!! That...is the funniest thing ive ever heard...LOL...and I love it! As long as when Nat comes out of said coma the amnesia (cause there's always amnesia) doesn't last too long...and we finally get some Otalia lovin'!...LOL...Classic! :D

Oh yeah, the dreaded post tragedy amnesia! well obviously we dont want that to last too long... But then there will be the after amnesia of Olivia becoming depressed and ill with the stress and worry her heart is under....then when Nat is back to her usual self (Including new post well scars) she will help Olivia back to the road of recovery...YEY lol

Ooooo..unless..while Nat has amnesia, she doesnt remember shes religious & deep down she knows that shes in love with Liv..so at some point when Liv is taking care of her back at the FoL Nat instigates a 2nd romantic kiss, but then she has a flashback to the 1st kiss which brings her out of her amnesiatic state..she then remembers that she admitted her feelings to Liv, but still thinks its wrong, she freaks out again, pushes Liv away again, which brings us to Liv becoming 'heartbroken'...LOL

Totally! Then Nat flee's again and the WHOLE thing starts all over again, like the Truman show on Acid! lol
Either way i think we are basically agreeing when we say that its going to be DRAMA all the way for these two, nothing will run smooth! just look at how many ways they interupted Olivia when she was trying her damndest to tell Nat how she felt!!

I know!! Wonderful wonderful soapy drama..LOL..it's kiling me, but i love it! That and they're not on everyday!! What's up with that!? One ep Liv's about to confess, the next nothin'...this is gonna take fooorevvverrrr...lol.
