  • So many top songs and yet so unknown, so strange!

  • i wanna make 5 people fade 2 black...

  • How long does it take you to find his daughter has Autism?

  • thanks so much for this. I'm the 'adult' 120 minutes' what's showed my first wife real music. Haven't seen this since early 120 min - best show they ever pushed. Best 2 u.

  • @Crockman9 I'm sorry can you speak English? Certainly not the Queen's. What's gonna be fun is watching you squirm like the slug you are with salt on you're back - oh, you rock, salt that is. Love the attitude punkass.

  • Wonder how you'll pay for the FREE medi care that you get now. In your speak 'r u a stdnt? can u say mum n da? wypy wypy? crycry? You're parents are now at a golf 'outing' talking about their score and their day but not about you. You are shat - fuck with me no further thing that dreams to be a moth.

  • @bijgenaamd SUCK A FUCKING DICK HOMO

  • @Crockman9 damn homophobe

  • so many bands parodied this band musically and lyrically.

  • Somehow found this video and sussenly i was hit by lightning i guess.

I remembered this song from a popular dj in Holland-alfred Lagarde.

What a gigantic song, how blessed i feel to have rediscovered it.

    Amazing.

    Greetz to all music lovers!!

    René

  • memories, my friend and I used to play this on our guitars together for hours!

  • Really? Are you convinced about that? They do sound kind of different.

  • This video is like a slow Vasoline by STP

  • They don't do music like this anymore: a lost age. By far my favourite rock music ever.

  • best band of the 80's........ wife and i always refer to there songs...... Hate to admit it but she's always right.... We fell in love to them.

  • My first boyfriend introduced me to Buffalo Tom when we were in college.... seems a million years ago now. Great times. Thanks for posting it. Timeless!

  • Thanks a ton, DonSweat!

  • This song always makes me teary..

Saw BT do this live around 91 in Melbourne-was 21 at the time. Couldnt wait-got my ticket early as possible. On the morning of the show I hear my dear grandfather (he brought me up so my dad really) had died. Didnt know what to do-ended up going reluctantly, totally red-faced, drank too much (which I usually did at that age), and when they played this song bawled my eyes out. Always reminds me of him. Such a great song and beautiful lyrics.

  • @snicks70 That's heavy, and way cool...to care about someone so much...Events and other events happen around each other in ways that make one wonder. God, I'm a piece of work! Thanks for sharing. :)

  • @snicks70

I was at that gig too, they were great

  • Saw them live 3 years ago at 1st Ave and looking forward to their show at the Varsity in a couple weeks.

    Great band. Awesome live.

  • Buffalo Tom, Matthew Sweet, Redd Kross, The Posies, Archers of Loaf and Local H all underrated greats

  • My friend in Boston knew these guys. Sent me this album. Wore it the fuck out.

  • I must admit I never heard of them before. Well I'v heard this song before, but never knew who made it. Today stumbled upon it and searched for other songs of them. Pretty good band I must say.

  • i get douche pimples when i hear this song

  • My little girl was one when i bought this album , I cant believe she is now almost 18 .. and I miss he like hell ... How to make her understand what she ,means tom me

  • @Wlopez62 call her

  • What a great band. Remember rock when it actually rocked? Thank you 88.5 the voice of Georgia State University for playing this!

  • now this takes me back to some of the best times of my life so far.............

  • They never got the praise they deserved !

  • Good memories !!!! Just heard it on the radio a few days ago & I had to look it up...such a beautiful song!

  • This song is one of my favourites. In fact, this video is surely a play back of the studio "Tailights Fade". U can find it on "Let Me Come Over" album of these bostonian incisive musicians.

  • Love Buffalo Tom, one of the most underrated bands in history next to Feeder, please check out my cover of Kitchen Door :)

  • This video takes me back to many a night leaning against the juke box at the Tote Hotel (Melbourne Aust} and understanding" feeling like a dinosaur" great song, great sentement. Love it.

  • Their only "mistake" was to come from the wrong, the (almost) horizontally opposite side to a certain American city. The same goes with MindFunk for example.

  • sister ..brother

  • <------ subscribe the channel,.....be on spot for the release of the album IMMUFULATION!!

  • Perfect song for eveyday life. Not bleak just truthful and so, so honest.Listen to this paticulaaryy the''Watch my taillights fade to black'' line and rejoice in the brilance of Bill Janovitz

  • First real concert I ever went to back in 92. They were playing at a small dive in Hamilton. Great show. Wish I could relive that night.

  • wow , this really takes me back

  • I am just listening to birdbrain and it struck me when thinking about three easy pieces. It's been a long time since they sounded like this. Unfortunately I think the chance they will make another great album is getting smaller and smaller, damn shame

  • i love this song, one of my all time faves

  • 10/10

  • ...such a good song,from an ace album too.Wonderful!

  • The 90's had some great music and it all came from Mass. Buffalo Tom, Lemonheads, Blake Babies, Pixies, etc

  • I'll always love this song.

  • Amazing song. Thank you poster!

  • if you have tears, prepare to shed them now

  • Yes, indeed, definitely one of the best songs to come out of the 90's and my fave from these guys.

Did a radio show on a college station and would lose it when they go into the chorus. Flailing air guitar... expected them to find me laying on the floor from bonking my head on something.

    Sheer musical joy!

  • Lived my college years with this cd playing in the background.

Larry, Mineral, Taillights.... I'm with coaldusty- this is awesome. thx for putting it up.

  • love this song

  • oh yeah.

  • The 90's was the best for rock. This is a prime example, it gives me tingles!!

  • Underrated by the masses, who cares.....they got Nirvana.

  • Same with me, except for beach and orientation; those guys feel right with a cool beer in northern Germany, as well.

    Most underrated song at least!

  • just my favourite band love crackin a beer in sellicks beach in south australia and rockin out to bufalo tom

  • This was in a skateboard video, "Children of the Sun" by New Deal skateboards.

The song went really good with a skate part.

  • one of the best songs ever

  • Good band. panama days skateboarding

  • my whole high school years, so glad i found em, thanks bb..

  • Best underated band ever haha

  • never get sick of listening to this song

  • i agree, marmite. immensely underrated.

  • One of the most under-rated bands of all time. Buf Tom rock.

  • Every of their songs rocks.

I like this band for years, already 20 years wow! Thats funny because they are completly unknow in France.

    what a waste.

  • just a superb song

no more to be said !!!!!!

  • This song is very good, I love this song.

    Good times !!

  • they were super

  • Remember a break-up after a couple of years. Remember loading the U-Haul, and taking a final shower. One final hug, we did really love one another. Closed the door on the trailer and watched her drive away. She slowed and must have looked in her rear view mirror. I did watch those tail-lights, and saw my love drive away, slowly looking at me. Felt like driving away from my granparents, knowing this could be the last time I saw em. This song means someting to me.

  • Just perfect. They were really ahead of their time.

  • okay... i agree they were great, but "ahead of their time"? how? what makes them ahead of their time? they were doing grungy melodic rock; great songs... not ahead of their time, though...

    please explain

  • Explain it? Why, teacher?

Go take care of your band, kid. You have a lot of work to do.

  • nice cop out.

guess it takes guts to stand behind your opinion.

and yes, being in a band is a lot of work

  • ; )

  • so, why were they ahead of their time?

  • HA! At 47 seconds through, it looks like the bassist hits his head on the cymbal... Lol

  • haha thats was cool :)

  • If you are appreciative of Buffalo Tom, give the band Tribe a listen. Also from the late 80s early 90s.

Like Buffalo Tom, they were way ahead f their time back then. Deep, full sound. A real treat. There are a few vids up here.

  • pqp! toda vez que escuto esse som me vem todo os anos 90 na cabeça, o colégio e frustrações adolescentes.

Típico das músicas que realmente mexem com a gente.

    Não mudaria nada!

    Viva Buffalo Tom!!!

  • awsome!!!!

  • song of songs

  • One of the most under-rated bands of the 90's. Thank you Matt Pinfield and WHTG in Eatontown, NJ for promoting them.

  • j mascis really knows whats what when it comes to music, this band is really great

  • There are some great still photos in the CD sleeve of Red Letter Days. That burnt phone is ingrained in my brain forever.

  • the real americana

  • Red Letter Day is my favorite album, but this is my favorite song by them.

  • bill janovitz rules!

  • Gives me goosebumps...

  • Buffalo Tom are easily one of the most underrated bands in the 90's.

  • Totally agree

    Magic song

  • Absolutely. Love these guys. One of my top 3 bands.

  • @EndlessChris

    Definitely

  • @EndlessChris agree!!!

  • In their prime I never really paid much attention to them. I heard a few songs but nothing really struck me. This song however was an exception. I was blown away from the start. After all these years I should listen to their other material.

  • Second band I ever saw live. They were at a small, and I mean small club/bar in Hamilton ONT.

  • I'm sure this song can mean different things to many people. It is so sad, but people can relate. So universal (like carol king) in feeling. Aside from that, the chord structure and arangement is one and only. Buffalo Tom hit the mark here which happens sometimes, but few can come up with a song so simple and endearing.

  • I saw them here in 93.

I had'nt heard their stuff before, but this song blew me away live!

  • It really is outrageous that this doesn't have more views, top tune.

  • My favourite song before I lost my hearing...

  • What a song! Amazing stuff!

  • A top 10 song from the 1990s.

  • Great song. Great band.

  • I still put this on once in a while.. soooooooo many memories. getting sad now=(

  • Wonderfull Song!

  • It don't get much better than this people.
