Wow. He's seriously the only politician I've ever seen that didn't make me feel ashamed to be a human. Lovin' this guy and his message! I hope he gets elected and can actually change some things!
I agree with much of what Kucinich says, but he seems to be insisting on a pacifist foreign policy. Out of Libya? Either Kucinich is isolationist to the point of enabling a world of thugs, or he won't pick up a weapon to help a friend or innocent bystander. This is an unrealistic, naive stance, in my opinion. Firmness will yield more peace and ultimately more freedom than will withdrawal.

@bigjohnson9687 We have radicals on the other side of the aisle as well. Aspiring toward radicalism sometimes just results in noisy people who refuse, for a while, to take "no" for an answer, witness the Tea Party. That and reaction thereto hardly seems progressive to me . . .

@voltrabbit7 I know plenty about Ron Paul. If the media shaped my opinions then I would be a war loving capitalist. Which I am not. Believe it or not but you can actually be informed and still not like him or agree with his philosophies. I like some of what he wants but I think the rest would be disastrous.
we might as well make t-shirts that have all the facts that explain why pot should be legal and why prohibition on it isn't working. then just wear that shirt every day for the rest of your life. prohibitionist spews out some worry or pondery it be like look at the shirt i was not put on this world to answer the same questions over and over again to people who think what we've been doing, are still doing, and as far as we know will still be doing is working 3-4 years smoking never been caught.
@ABevs1 They're not exactly insane. They're the policies that broadly existed in the United States until the early twentieth century. I think free-market capitalism would certainly be preferable to corporatism, which is what we have now. However, an intelligent argument can be had as to whether free-market capitalism would be better than communism or anarchism. Besides, as much as Paul and Kucinich respect each other, neither would serve under the other, as neither compromises on principles.
Right on Dennis, first time hearing you and I like your message here. I'm here in CA, but if I was there in Seattle, you'd definitely have my vote!!!!
@ilovealexjones1 There was no money spent on interpreters for the deaf. Everyone at Seattle Hempfest is a volunteer. And there are a lot of deaf people who use cannabis and deserve to understand the amazing speeches being made. I don't see how that can bother you.
@JodieEmery maybe i dont want the deaf to understand...maybe they should learn to read lips, think of all the people with ADD that were distracted by the person doing that stupid sign language. i have had college classes COLLEGE and their were huge classes and some of them have some idiot doing some retard sign language up front as if sitting in a room of 200 students isnt enough you have some moron in the front doing some retard dance so someone can understand the teacher...its a joke....
@ilovealexjones1 what an ignorant prick you are! ever came to your mind, that there may have been people attending, WHO ARE DEAF? (or have other hearing problems)
wow, i'm baffled by such a degree of dickish-ness, honestly, how could anyone be so oblivious and arrogant? i hope you lose your hearing in an accident, i really do,
then again...
...you are a stereotypical american, eh?

@m0rbusPolytox dont be a fool i do have hearing problems ever since i was in grade school they would come back with the hearing tests and how i have trouble hearing mid range (what the human voice talking generally is) but id ont have to get colleges to pay for stupid interpreters and stuff for me, i dont make others foot the bill or sacrifice to accommodate me...granted its nothing serious and i get along fine, it hardly is enough to really affect my life either way,
@ilovealexjones1 oh, so you have trouble eharing people talk, fine. so YOU don't need an interpreter - but how about the deaf, who can't hear anything?
they should stay at home and not go outside and participate in our society, right?
come on, what you said is just stupid!
how about ramps for paraplegic folks? not necessary i guess... at least in your mind.
you are a poor individual!
i am so glad i live in europe, where there's much less of your kind and we know the meaning of "SOLIDARITY".
@m0rbusPolytox to be fair alot of businesses that would normally NOT need ramps because they do not server such customers are FORCED to have them as a result of the govts legislation...if a business choose to be handicap accessible then good for them, it will probably only help their business, but if they choose not to then that is their right....o wait that is not true any more not the govt forces businesses to be handicap accessible...
@ilovealexjones1 The position you extol means that every business can do cost/benefit analysis as to which groups are small enough to discriminate against where cost of serving them outweighs the profit.
@RadicalRuss you mean like how they do cost benefit analysis of what products they sell in suit the needs of their customers...so if someone needs a specialty item should the store be forced to carry it at a reasonable price...i mean is someone going to cry discrimination when the story dosent have an item that is not worth the story carrying???i mean isnt that how a business works ?? you do cost benefit analyst in order to maintain a profitable business???instead of doing what ever...
@RadicalRuss you do relaize that discriminaton isnt illegal right...if i own a business i can say for insteace that i dont want to serve teenagers....or i dont wnat to server who ever....its called private property, dumb ass...i guess i in your world i can run aroudn your house uninvited and when you tell me to leave i can say 'DISCRIMINATION"....you know what if my business will lose money (thus making my workers lose money) all so some stupid ramp can be built i wont do it....
@RadicalRuss yes we should force business to take a loss just so we remain politically correct...good job...its idiots like you that is harming businesses all across the country...because of idiots like you private property means nothing now adays...not all that matters is the 'good of the collective' the good of the 'commune' at the expense of the individual....where in this republic the rights of the individual are supposed to be protected....dumb fuck kill your self and your family...

@pappawheely I could see it. They have different economic ideas, but generally they're both pro liberty and pro constitution, anti-war, and for the will of the people above the will of the ruling class. Paul works with Kucinich all the time on legislation they agree on.
Imagine Dennis as President and Ron Paul sitting at home wearing a tinfoil hat and rambling on about how planet nibiru is going to come and end the world as we know it! how amazing would that be???
@aratsky2 they wouldn't be able to accomplish next to anything other than hold the line a little against a corrupt house and senate. president and vice prez r basically powerless without backing from the senate and house and they most definitely wouldn't have their backing. this whole election is part of the charade called government . what we need to do is get everyone to NOT vote and show r masters we know what their doing to our country and we are done playing their game of debt slavery

ron paul is a doctor... get this... a doctor who denies biological evidence and the fact of evolution (backbone of all medical science and biological knowledge on earth). that is a scary thing, and tells me his reasoning is all screwed up.
@aratsky2 IT WOULDN'T at all! Paul's a hipocrite, just another republicunt! also, you can't deny his racist undertone throughout his career... and what makes you think Kucinich would EVER want_to run with Paul ?!? they couldn't be more different: Kucinich is IN FAVOR of a public option, IN FAVOR of social-security, IN FAVOR of stricter gun-laws, and IN FAVOR of a "SOCIAL-DEMOCRACY", with more reglementations of all markets! (as any decent human being SHOULD be) Ron Paul, however,HATES these!
@aratsky2 Yeah, sadly, they don't agree on industry and the economy, though. But, maybe, Kucinich would be willing to serve in a role that would be purely non-economic.
@aratsky2 Fucking hell, people, DO YOUR RESEARCH!! Ron Paul is NOTHING like Kucinich! So RP wants to end the wars and legalize weed? Whoopty fucking doo. If you ever made the effort to research RP or Google his voting record, you might also discover that he is extremely racist, homophobic, and severely pro-life (even in cases of rape or risk of the mother dying). But his supporters don't know that side of them, do you? All you fuckers ever care about is getting high.
@aratsky2 i dont get the dennis kucinich and ron paul comparison . if you are down with what is being said here why on earth are you digging on ron paul? not even close to the same... more similarities between paul and the current republicans.
