NO!!! WAIT!! I REALLY THINK... IT MIGHT NOT BE THE VOICE that suck's! Yea, i believe the voice could of done better but, when it first started playing... i got a really good idea for a melody on another guitar instrument. Hmmm, and on 2nd thought... that voice does suck...
It's really easy to criticize because Tool is the one and only real deal, no cover band has that kind of magic, because then they wouldn't be a cover band, they would be in a real band and you would have heard of them. You can pick apart the whole song but even Tool didn't cover No Quarter exactly. It's a musical interpretation. Not only that but it's a tribute. These guys have to love Tool as any of you, and as a musician (drummer), I know that Tool's music is hard to play. Shame on you haters.
@XxxraddaraddaxxX that is a good thing willingness and even desperation to find a way through the shadow.. and plz stop trying to manipulate the lyrics to seem.. idk what to call it but WHATEVER you seem stupid and make yourself look even more so just stop..
awesome, i don't know why everyone is hating. this isn't a cover band trying to sound like tool, it's a tribute band. if they sounded the same or tried to sound the same but werent quite up to par, what would be the point?
that's like saying i hate jimi hendrix's all along the watch tower because he doesn't sound like bob dylan.
The sound is cool guys. But the voice and rythming - geez, that's bad one.
That is Tool, not Lady Gaga - on 4.10 listen the same passage from the original. It's 7/8, 7/8, 7/8, 8/8 - that's the coolest part of the song you've destroyed...
Okay I really like the concept of these guys, but so far all I've seen from them are just gimmicky tributes. Don't they have any original material? I'd really like to hear some, 'cause this sound has some great potential.
I have most if not all of their CDs. As far as i know (and this is with almost 2 months of searching -_- ) they dont have any original material. It's a shame though since this whole CD is actually REALLY good Hookah chilling grooves lol. I remember chilling in a room filled with black lights and posters while this CD was playing...It was really really relaxing.
It ain't Tool. But it's a cover-band I'd go see.

Wouldn't mind listening to the instrumental to this
But the vocals, especially those at the re-frame, just kills it
Not that the person has a bad voice, but it doesn't fit the song, & once it hits that reframe, it sounds sh*tty

Singer is off key. I get not trying to be exactly like Tool, but he sounds BAD. at 2:16, someone's REALLY off.

Ummmm....singer is off key big time. How did this get a commercial release?
