It would have been 100x better if a viking on horseback rode in and lopped the boys head off and blood shoots onto the girl's hotdog. Then the viking grabs the hotdog and devours in in triumph. He then snatches the young girl and takes her back to Norway for the Norse gods to have their way with. Now THAT would be a successful commerical.

Some of these comments are ridiculous. The Family and friends of these 2 kids worked very hard to promote this commerecial, and get thier name out there. Newspapers, and stations covered it. It bothers me that people are saying outrageous comments about 4 year old kids who they don't even know. The vote is out, and the other 14 contestants didn't get the coverage they needed to win this contest.

This thing got really competitive and, I've got to admit, I'm more disapointed that Heinz doesn't look beyond the cutesy, family image for material and less about the filmmakers who are inspired by the cutesy stuff. you guys need to chill. first of all, this is a great commercial. think about the brand, Heniz for a second. they are one of the most family oriented brands in the world. they are not 'edgy' or the slightest bit controversial in their image, so if you think about this from a purely marketing standpoint, this commercial hits the company's target demographic right on the nose.

I think what they mean is that some of the 15 do not even have any other stuff on youtube and are most likely in the Video biz in a semi pro or pro level but your spot is great, the only thing is those kids must have done acting before there too good either that or you shot for days :) did you edit with adobe or final cut with motion...?

Actually, the kids have never acted before. The boy is my 4-year-old stepson. The girl is his 3-year-old "girlfriend" -- family friend. The entire spot was shot in my kitchen in less than an hour. I like to think that they had good direction. ;) But thank you for the compliments. Editing was done with Adobe Prem Pro.
