  • Well everyone has these good alt. lives, but charlie was still an addict, and Locke still needed a wheelchair, :/ I wish they could've gave everyone a better alt. life, after all they've been through.

  • I tried to explain these episodes to my sister and why they were different. She's never seen lost. She thinks I'm crazy.

  • Time travel was actually first mentioned in Series 2. It came into Series 3 and was confirmed in Series 4. Time travel was not also a narrative, but also a means of story-telling. I loved the whole travel in time.

  • jimmy Kimmel had an interesting theory. He said JAck died when Rose told him to, "let go". At that point Jack passed into the afterlife that we all saw throughout the entire season 6.

  • I only ever watched the first few episodes of lost. Can someone tell me why there are similar yet different scenes?

  • Well, I guess we all know now why the episode was called "LA X"... sort of.

  • did rose know that they were all, you know, or did she just say that ("you can let go now")?

  • @pipipipi2689 hmmmm i dont know about that but i defiently think that everything that happened on the island did happen and not that they die in the crash:O

  • too bad the flash sideways is nothing morethan a pitstop to the afterlife

  • Get a FUCKING LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I vote that it's all a dream, like Newhart. Or or or maybe it's all the thoughts of a retarded kid a la St. Elsewhere.

  • The make up department should've given Jack a haircut!

  • I really prefer the cinematography of season 1. This is a dark show. Interior shots should be dark. I love how everything in season 1 has that dark navy/steel kind of look to it. Beautiful.

  • Why does the lighting and the look of the show look soo much worse in the season 6 one. Why cant they go back to how this show used to look!?!??

  • @jayrobson88 thats not the real lighting. it's a bad quality leaked clip from b4 the premier

  • Wrong. Lighting still looks like that in good quality

  • It's amazing that the flight attendant looks the same after 5 years.

  • note the wedding ring on Jack's finger in "LA X" ... maybe we'll see Julie Bowen again?

  • I watched episode 1 and 2 of 6 season yesterday :D love it ღღღ

  • In "Pilot" Cindy gives Jack two bottles of vodka. Jack puts one in his pocket and drinks the other. After the crash he uses the one in his pocket to sterilize the gash in his back before Kate sews it closed. In the alternate reality, he doesn't need the second bottle because the flight never crashes. This is the most clever show in television history.

  • Thats right Jack, I mean, what are they going to say, man, when it's gone, huh? Because the show, when it dies, man, when it dies, he dies. What are they going to say about him? What are they going to say, he was a kind man, he was a wise man, he had plans, he had wisdom?

  • So - you're saying Cindy knew he was going to crash and have a scar? I don't buy it. She was even on that side of the island and the only one that knew about it was Jack and Kate.

  • @HeyJaw No! I'm saying the WRITERS were clever in how they foreshadowed the flight not crashing in LA X-by having Cindy give Jack just one bottle the second time around. In the flashsideways he has no need for a second bottle. Sorry this wasn't clearer, but, I didn't want to post a long-winded dissertation.

  • It's not about knowing, she doesn't know, it's a bit like determinism, it's whether you can choose your choice. Cindy was meant to give him 2 bottles in 'pilot' for different reasons, one being that Jack was an alcoholic and the other that he will need it in the near future. In LAX he doesnt need the 2nd bottle because he is no longer an alcoholic (we assume) and the plane won't crash. Everything has a knock on effect due to peoples actions whether they are conscious of their choice or not.

  • yeh well spotted, it's also presumably because jack isn't an alcoholic in that version so doesn't need an extra drink. This show is immense.

  • @LoneStarTom71 Agreed.

  • @LoneStarTom71 i thought this show was great, but when it turned from a plane crash survival show, mid season 4 to a time traviling alternate reality bullshit plot.... i thought it got really gay, and the ending was GARBAGE.... it sucks when u change your writers mid series

  • @101andrewj I only liked it BECAUSE it wasn't a generic plane crash survival show. And it stopped being that 1/2 way through season one.

  • @101andrewj it never was a plane crash survival show, its had weird stuff since the beginning, the monster, lockes healing, whispers, ghosts, dreams, visions etc and they didnt change writers half way through. Also the time travel came into it in season 3 not season 4.

  • @itspeejay yeah, the main writer who had done most of the writing for the first 3 seasons left after season 3, and they hired a large team of writers to fill in the story from there... like i sayd, i liked the show when it was a survival show, when they wer living in stick huts and shooting it out with the natives.. but then it took a wierd turn, into some religious garbage... and the end.... i cant fuckin believe i watched that show for 6 years, for 1 of the shittest endings in history

  • @LoneStarTom71 agreed apart from one thing... You always need a second bottle for 'medicinal' purposes ;)

  • Two words: Donnie Darko.

  • Donnie Darko is for the win!

  • So awesome. The timelines will converge. The Whispers and ghosts we've seen throughout the entire show are remnants of this other reality. We've been seeing parts of the parallel universe all this time, we just didn't know it.

  • it is not a parallel universe, that is how lost is going to end,Why? because the bomb did not explode, they travel in time before, but they r going to travel back in time once again and they are going to chance the future, that´s why we saw the island in the bottom of the sea, well, it´s what i think

  • You are way wrong.

  • im not,you will see at the end.

  • SPOILER: If it's not a parallel universe - why is Hurley lucky and why is Kate accused of killing somebody totally different? Watch - you won't even have to wait till the end.

  • hurley have always been lucky, the people around him not. harley won the lottery i think that is good luck ,maybe kate killed somebody else, becuase the fact they chance the future and the past of the survivor.

  • Hurley wasn't always luck and you miss the point of that whole arc with him. He was never happy about winning that money. And he didn't originally go to Australia to open a Mr. Cluck's franchise there. So - in other words it is a parallel universe. Tons of things are different.

  • first hurley was never happy because he thougt the numbers was curses but if the island is the bottom of the sea he doesnot have nothing to worry about,he went to australia to investigate the origen of the numbers but this time the thing are different cause the island, jacob mess their life so they can go to the island, thats why this time kate may be innocent, jacob is going to fix their life, just think it over

  • @ serafinmaz

not really man. His house burned down, he was arrested because he was accused of drug dealing, and his plane crashed in the middle of the pacific

It does affect the people around him mostly, but I wouldnt call him lucky

  • No, Hurley was lucky. This point was reiterated throughout 'Numbers'. Like all the bad stuff was for ppl around him. That wasn't his house it was his mothers house, and he was let go from jail. Again highlighted when he went to that old Australian women and Hurley asked if Sam was hurt in the crash and she goes "barely a scratch".

And again highlighted with all the stuff that happened on-island in that episode where like Hurley could cross the bridge and dodge Rousseas's trap

  • No hurley hasnt. he thought he was cursed and never wanted the money. They can change the future to where they land, they cant change a characters past.

  • How do you know she killed someone else? Never saw that? I also have thought it has beem parallel universe since LA X. Though it all seems to simple and predictable and JJ is using Parallel universe plot in Fringe, dont think he would in lost as well. Though it does seem the most logical explanation. Also- I believe it was either fox or lindelof who said that about a third a way through the season the Flash Sideways time line and island time line will merge into one linear time line.

  • Also didnt juliet say it worked? What did she mean??

  • awesome, some will eventually do every single scene in the series that can sync up. i loved the one with the plane crash and ben and co. can see it happening, etc. such a good idea. fast and SAWEET!

  • the monster didn't have locke's scar in the premire

  • seems like 'the first time' Jack comforted Rose. Seems like the '2nd time' it was vice versa. I suspect this isn't the first 'side by side' we are going to be seeing this season!.

  • @teos9888

nah, there are other people out there who didn't understand it too.

  • Yes.

  • most likely yes.

  • WTF?

  • This is what make lost amazing.. So many Mysterys that you just wanna find out XD

  • it is significant, for instace jack got half the booze. And in the LA x jack is the nervous flyer not Rose. Another interesting note is hurley is "the luckiest man alive" and sawyer upon hearing that hurley is a million tells him not to tell other people that might take advantage of him. Everyone is different

  • EXACTLY - I noticed that too. LAX Jack is nervous, while Pilot Rose is. Things have changed now, because of Juliet's detonation.

  • Its LA X Karliang. the space wasn't a coincidence.

  • how can you be sure the bomb exploded?

  • @ reamkore-

Yeh I agree, It's funny though how people interpret things differently. I assumed the sawyer bit telling hugo 'other people will take advantage' was part of sawyer's old con tricks ie to get hugo on his side thinking he is looking out for him when actually he is gonna con him out of his money. But I think your view of sawyer makes better sense, that he isn't a con man in the lax version.

  • yep

  • They're completely fucking different lol. I aint really bothered though, I just have to think that for some reason, little things changed? Because of timing perhaps...?

  • Notice that in the scene on the right...as Jack pours the alcohol into the cup, the plane shakes and it misses. This may represent the Island reminding him that he isn't an alcoholic anymore. Also...when the plane begins to shake, Jack immediately puts his seatbelt on almost as if he is anticipating the crash. Jack is much more calm as the plane shakes, but on the left, he is panicking. Finally Jack says, "Looks like we made it" and Rose says, "we sure did" she may remember Jack from the past...

  • @rndmwhitekid I noticed the thing about the seatbelt and the turbulance too. Makes you wonder how their island life will come together with this alt life.

  • They either filmed it halfed assed or it is significant somehow.

  • @DiginURGrav3 it's intentionally different to the pilot. remember, this is an alternate reality (the plane doesn't crash) so there's no reason why all the details have to be exactly the same as before.

  • it worked! They're alive!!! But the other people are still on the island stuck back in a different time... still.....

  • NIce!!

  • wha'ts fake?

the man under the shadow push jack !

    ;-)

  • dude, Jack's got longer hair in the second video!! that means there is a space-time incongruence and we are all dead!!ALL DEAD!!remember the hair when you blow up!! the haaaaaiiir!!! ahhhhh

  • alfred

  • LA LECHE!

  • She doesn't have the necklace in this new version. Maybe she is not even married to Bernard in this reality.

  • oneperipatetic-

She doesn't have the necklace in this new version. Maybe she is not even married to Bernard in this reality.

yeh....except she says 'my HUSBAND' says planes want to stay in the air'....lol.. doh! ;)

  • Thank you so much for this. I think I saw a short haired Charlie in the seat in front of Sun & Jin ( I'm surprised they are together). So Charlie is no longer the long haired druggie hiding heroin but the put together guy we saw in Hurley's dream. Jack doesn't pour the extra bottle in his drink. A sign he not drinking like before? Or is this new "narrative device" flipping through possible scenarios but not necessarily what did happen? That would be worse than time travel!

  • aaaahj LOST culiao xD.. quiero verlo luego x3

  • @ospabano la cago io igual xd

  • ok this is ridiculous because they say oceanic 815 crashed beacuse desmond forgot to push the swan hatch button, but how did ajira 316 crashed on the island if nobody forgot to push the button and the hatch was destroyed, my point is, oceanic 815 should crash anyway because if you fly over the pocker as eloise says they would crash right?? wtf

  • @MrFlypy Wrong. Eloise doesn't know everything. She also said they had to recreate the 815 crash right down to the dead body. Just flying over wasn't enough. But from the conversation between the MIB & Jacob, you can infer that you can't find the island on your own. Jacob or the MIB has to let you find the island. Jacob brought 815 to the island. He brought the army too because he needed their bomb. This is a long con. Longer even than the MIB's plan.

  • I totally understand your point, however there are considerable differences between how Oceanic flight 815 and Ajira flight 316 "crashed". 815 literally broke apart in the sky, while 316 remained intact, and Lapidus was (basically) able to land the plane, though he did overshoot the Hydra Island runway. But I do get your observation nonetheless.

  • @cicconegooch thank you for your response, and yes as maureen8apples2bslim says it was different, but my other doubt they would still crash or ''get stuck'' on the islands radius because they hit the pocket, so if they hit the pocket u would need to follow a special bearing to get out of it just like in season 4 u needed faradays bearing to reach the boat safely, right?

  • I'm telling you guys: all we've seen so far are parallel realities slightly different. They just will show us that one where the Oceanic 815 didn't crash.

  • Were Darlton even trying to make it completely the same (Jack's hair is different, no Charlie, two bottles v. 1, more passengers on Rose's side in the Pilot)? Not necessarily, right? Things can be different. Looks like Jack has a memory of the island but Rose doesn't.

  • these guys along with JJ Abrams penned the best show in TV history...they OBVIOUSLY made some changes on purpose and they UNDOUBTEDLY have a good reason for it.

  • Amen brotha

  • i si es otro avion???

    if is other plane¿

  • That was pretty crappy of you to post that. Did you win it from that contest? I entered that contest! Well, no matter, it's on ABC's LOST website now anyway. Obviously they want everyone to see it. It just may be a dream anyway!

  • not only the plane scene but also when Jack wake up and see a crowd is similar

  • So.. one other observation if no one noticed, they seats are quite different.

  • cindy gives jack one bottle in lax .2 in poilot ... jacks hair is almost an inch longer in lax ..... jack tells rose tht its normal . and opposite for other video ... cindy walks opposite ways .....

  • Bah! I can't wait. Seriously. It's going to be amazing.

  • ive watched it like 40 sumthin times!

  • Frogurt is in the LA X scene.. in the seat immediately to the left of Locke in the row behind Rose. In the Pilot episode there's a guy with dark brown hair and bangs sitting immediately to the left of Lock. I could do this all night.. somebody stop me!

  • did I say something bad or offensive? why the thumbs down hater?

  • Haha! I caught Frogurt too! Don't worry-- it's just a youtube troll, the saddest kind. if someone gives a thumbs down to an accurate observation then that's their problem.

  • aww.. thanks sleepysofa. tough audience i guess! And big thanks once more to mladja22 for posting this and his/her commendable job at syncing up the dialog. Thumbs-up and 5 shining stars. Here's to spreadin' the love.

  • The winner of the ABC competition should be amazed by this video XD But now we all can watch it and get some ideas of what is going to happen. I got one: They return safe to the airport :P (I knew they would return to the start and my dad will creep out when he sees this on tuesday LOL). PD: I know more of what I supposed to not know....K**e & *la*r* on t*x* es***e. Clue?

  • Kate & Claire on taxi Escape?

  • @MonickerL You got it! It was an easy one right? Let's wait till the episode start to confirm that :) PD: I won't give more of the spoilers I have get to see on pictures....:)

  • Hm, so some stuff is missing. Oh well I mean you can't really be picky with these, I mean I bet it was hard for them to match it up this well. Still awesome and I am so glad someone mad this video.

  • Fabulous work! Excelent!!!

  • OMG!

  • Such a simple phrase..."You can let go now." But such deep meaning in Jack's life and the perfect words for this exact moment.

    Great writing.

  • God im gonna miss this show. Nice video btw.

  • Nice & Fast, really well done. Thanks. I needed to see what color was Rose's blouse. Hope that means something, along with the other similarities

  • Wow!! Awesome!!

  • I think Jin and Sun are three sits behind Jack, not sure, good comparison btw.

  • buen video che

  • wohoooooooooooooooooooooooo 4 days now!! :D

  • wow the sentence "you can let go now" was audible in S1E1 already but it does not make sense there..but in S6E1 it does!

  • thank you! tooooooo fast! great job!

  • you ar amizeng you did this very fast and give us a great comparison btwin the 2 greatis episod in the history of T.V

  • Wow you got this done fast O_o Great job!
