However, they couldn't figure out why the figure grows 8" in height (not 3") as it approached trees. It's clearly visible. It's proposed that it was a young one on the shoulders (like monkeys do) or a hoaxer beginning to remove the head from the costume to breathe after the long run. Who knows?

Your mistaken about having one of the fastest runners in the world attempt it, it was some guy from the local college Oregon? track team. The dude on Fact or Fiction was a good athlete but he beat the time of the thing running across the hillside. Like I said I was pretty disappointed they were able to fairly easily recreate the footage.

Fact or Faked Did a show on this one month back. To be honest i think the people who shot this video didn't know they were being faked they thought they captured a Bigfoot on film. Secondly, this sprinting creature here actually resembles the Patterson creature extremely much. On BFRO there's an up-close/zoomed profile shot, compare it to Patty, I'd say it's of the same Bigfoot species indeed.

I watched a documentary on this where they went back to this location and hired the captain of the Washington State track team to run down th same path as fast as he could as they filmed it. He was not able to run as fast as this figure. very weird

What if it was some escaped convict or wanted man who just didn't want to be spotted, so he ran across the field till he was behind the hill? Then he just walked.
It was far away, so the "growing" could have been him getting closer, adjusting a backpack or jacket, or putting on a hat he wasnt wearing when he was running.
Watch the documentary titled Legend Meets Science. They study this very, very closely and while they come to the conclusion it's too far away to be 100% sure.
The speed of the creature and the fact that it grows a couple of inches before heading into the treeline is legitimate. According to the study it may've been another juvenille Bigfoot running to pick up a baby Bigfoot and have it on its shoulders.
Hence why it grows about 2 inches making it approx. 7 foot.
Who's "they"? The people who set up the show, who want you to think the video is real? Did "they" recreate it in the exact same spot? Doubt it. How far away was the camera operator in the original video? Do we factually know? What was the speed setting of the camera? Any idea? How tall is the "thing" that is running? You are easily swayed and very gullible. Most people are.
So for all of those people saying it's a person in a suit. How could a person in a suit run across that kind of terrain in a heavy ass suit without falling?

Patterson got so close to their quarry because they approached on horseback. The sounds of 4 legged animals approaching didn't raise any threat alarm with the animal..the key to their survival is their elusiveness. This animal is primarily nocturnal, so I have a problem with one running in an open field, it broad daylight, with a lot of human activity nearby.
You do realize that there have been a lot of sightings in broad daylight? Most of the encounters in broad daylight are what is called "surprise encounters."

Secondly, this sprinting creature here actually resembles the Patterson creature extremely much. On BFRO there's an up-close/zoomed profile shot, compare it to Patty, I'd say it's of the same Bigfoot species indeed.

Quite clearly, the'creature' in this clip is not the same species as the 'creature' filmed in the Patterson clip. That means either clip MUST be fake or BOTH clips are fake. Or are you silly believers telling me that there are TWO different species of undiscovered large primate living in the US?

I watched a documentary on this where they went back to this location and hired the captain of the Washington State track team to run down th same path as fast as he could as they filmed it. He was not able to run as fast as this figure. very weird

What I thought was weird was that in the Patterson footage, two guys on horses almost stumble upon it and it doesn't run. In this video, the guy is running full bore for no reason. The guy in the suit doesn't want to take a chance on getting shot.

wow so i just got back from a 5 day fishing/camping trip at chopaka lake in eastern washington near a town called loomis, and i know exactly where this was filmed, and out of the luck of the draw a guy camped next to us was actually one of the eye witnesses, and he was payed to bring film crews to chopaka lake to film the discovery chanel show and he wasnt weird or insane he was perfectly normal fisherman, i my self dont know what tp believe. THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW!!!!!!!

What if it was some escaped convict or wanted man who just didn't want to be spotted, so he ran across the field till he was behind the hill? Then he just walked.
It was far away, so the "growing" could have been him getting closer, adjusting a backpack or jacket, or putting on a hat he wasnt wearing when he was running.

Watch the documentary titled Legend Meets Science. They study this very, very closely and while they come to the conclusion it's too far away to be 100% sure.
The speed of the creature and the fact that it grows a couple of inches before heading into the treeline is legitimate. According to the study it may've been another juvenille Bigfoot running to pick up a baby Bigfoot and have it on its shoulders.
Hence why it grows about 2 inches making it approx. 7 foot.

Who's "they"? The people who set up the show, who want you to think the video is real? Did "they" recreate it in the exact same spot? Doubt it. How far away was the camera operator in the original video? Do we factually know? What was the speed setting of the camera? Any idea? How tall is the "thing" that is running? But as a whole the video is too far away to make a fair call. I do believe in Bigfoot and I do believe this could be Bigfoot, but neither of us really know. I highly doubt it's a person in a suit though.

It doesn't look to me as though it's running at breakneck speed..You say it's 'highly unlikely' it's a dude in a suit? I say the opposite! Patterson got so close to their quarry because they approached on horseback. The sounds of 4 legged animals approaching didn't raise any threat alarm with the animal..the key to their survival is their elusiveness. This animal is primarily nocturnal, so I have a problem with one running in an open field, it broad daylight, with a lot of human activity nearby.

Granted the quality of the video itself is poor and very hard to accurately analyze. But it would be unwise to look at it and think that it couldn't be a Sasquatch.
It's true it could be a hoax. But seriously, I doubt any of us could run across a rugged terrain with rocks, snakes, and so forth in a heavy suit without losing our balance.

Why don't you actually read the research instead of being sarcastic? I've watched documentaries about Bigfoot encounters where this was included, I've read about it, and I've studied Bigfoot since I was about 17 years old.

Jokes on you, dumb ass. On a documentary I saw they showed the terrain at this spot, there were snakes, and rocks, and all that shit. And to add on to that I live in Washington, have been camping at various different spots (including this area), and can tell you from experience, that the terrain in that area is not exactly a grassy field.

The comment about it running 8.5mph is true i watched it on the history channel the other day. but around a hillside on jagged rocked and for such a large animal thats more believable then it beating someone who is a 3 time all american from washington state. i think it being slower makes it more credible although its too far to make any real judgement
