I have a Saluki cross - with whippet, I think. In appearance she's just a small Saluki with brindled markings. She's the most faithful dog you could wish for, but, as people have said, so emotionally fragile. I've never worked out if that's just the breed, or if it's possible that past harsh treatment has produced it.

I have a saluki crossed with a greyhound, and my sister's boyfriend is allergic to some dog hair and cat hair, and he finds that my dog's hair sets off his allergies.
Mine doesn't shed shed, but he does leave A LOT of hair on everything, lol!

Wow! This is such a beautiful saluki! Such a gorgeous head and body, really amazing! I absolutely love the "saluki-way" of playing, so sweet!

Had a lurcher who i just knew had Saluki in him from his "Pretending to be deaf" routine!

The cool think about the saluki is that it doesn't kill its prey. It captures and holds it for you.

They are know for have kindren spirits.
A saluki is fragile and cannot be treated roughly or in a harsh manner.
