  • Wouldn't it be funny if he was all dressed up and not wearing shoes since he is at home? I guess we'll never know!

  • Are the shoes at 1:21 Ferragamo?

  • Comment removed

  • I have a pair of those!!! haha! 00:52 they somewhere in the closet.. and yea the cloth in your pocket is distracting

  • Ferragamo or Bally! They are usually full priced on the Ferragamo site but if you keep an eye out on Nordstrom you can get a bargain.

  • The quicker those square toe shoes go out, the better. How come that's all I see in stores now?

  • Although they have become icons of their own jeans, t-shirts and sneakers were originally made for their comfort/durability but have become the standard clothing. Now, even formal events have become accepting of them as people don't want to wear uncomfortable formal clothes. If business attire was more comfortable & durable, men would naturally dress better. Men's dress shoes O.o If you want men's shoe companies to make stylish, comfortable options go to this poll misterpoll(dot)com/polls/541405

  • I found the shoes I needed at aureliogarciashoes com they have a great selection from classic conservative to high fashion provocative, thank you for your fashion tips

  • 240p we meet once again..

    PaceShave*com

  • Lol fuck that shit, I wear nike's not some fruity dress shoes. I'm a man not a barbie doll.

  • @MrHack4fun you are also pretty dang immature. Unless you are black wearing nikes looks horrible and GIRLS WILL notice, now if you act like a dominant MAN they may still date you. BUT If you want to look like you are 15 or like you are a wigger, or a gym teacher.....wear nikes. Sports clothing is for playing sports and for the gym. When you arent in the gym, wear decent clothes. The worst part about the modern age is that men forgot how to make themselves presentable.

  • @Porojukaha: The worst part of this modern age is the emasculation of the American man courtesy of the American media. Pretty soon we're going to be wearing heels. Also your crammer is terrible. Throwing that out there.

  • Beta abar aiche, kail mainsere putkimara dese aaj gutar bapare mattache.

  • Whahaha those first shoes .... :)

  • who cares if he is gay or whatever, he is very good an excellent profesional and gives great tips.. thank you for this videos.

  • I like cowboy boots on guys....... I think those are the sexiest and convey power!

  • Can you please do a video about how to match your sunglasses to your outfit and the rules involved with it

  • Hi Aaron. I'm in the process of buying a stylish and comfortable pair of dress shoes. I'm on my feet all day. I was thinking about a pair of Rockport Hillandale wingtip shoes. Do you think they are nice enough to wear with a suit or dress pants and shirt? I guess I'm wondering if they are stylish enough. Below is the link.

  • @CanadaGuy80 Couldn't post the link. Just goggle Rockport Hillandale. If they look bad...please tell me. Thanks dude.

  • @CanadaGuy80 They're ugly! modernize dude! Wingtip shoes TEND to give the appearance of old and out of date. Try something simpler and clean

  • @DrummerMike86 Wing tips are always in style. It's one of those classic style shoes that never goes out of style. Am I wrong Aaron? Wing tip shoes was a recomendation I found on the GQ website. I stay far away from Aldoes and all of those other retail shoe stores because I find they look cheap and are way over done in terms of modern style to the point were they look tacky. Rockport shoes are high quality, comfortable but a lot of them have an old man look. THere are a few modern ones.

  • @CanadaGuy80 I want a classic shoe that will always be in style. I will be on my feet all day so it has to be comfortable. I find the classic style looks much more sophisticated then the trendy modern styles. I find people look juvenile and rediculous when they overdue the hole modern look. I hate the hole pointy shoe look...the were the toe curls up like an elf. Oh...I think white dress shoes look silly as well.

  • whats your take on men wearing minnetonka fringe boots. Like not the ones that go up to your knees but the ankle high ones like on Urban Outfitters?

  • Hm... I actually liked the bulky first pair. I was about to say, "Hi, could you put up a video, telling women to stop wearing those god-awful shiny, pointy shoes, please?" But according to your third shoe example, pointy is in.

But you will have to admit, nice, shiny shoes look ridiculous with a pair of blue jeans (right?).

  • your vids have improved alot havent watched alot of older vids of yours lol but still informative.

  • Great videos. Thank you very much Aaron. Best wishes for 2011 from Peterborough UK

  • Looking Fresh man!

  • service which work flawlessly *busizz4me.info*

  • Hello Aaron, where can i find those shoes. I could not find the brown loafers on zappos.com. Also I would like to speak to you about image consulting. Thanks Mel

  • My 90 old Dad would'nt wear that crap

  • Why are you dressing like an old guy?

  • I didn't know Hugh Jackman gives style advice online.

  • I didn't know Hugh Jackman gives style advice

  • Ask Dominico Vacca, "Black shoes are only for weddings and funerals".

  • hey Aaron what do you think of Clarks desert boots

  • 4\0k views. Men really love their shoes.

  • u know what ur talkin about..ill give u that. the one thing i agree to disagree with is shopping for shoes at department stores.. nordstrom is the place to go. they have everything u need there. and they have a great online store which u guy buy online and if it doesnt work.. return in store. great. for the the person who asked what kind of shoes those were.. 1st shoe, aldo.. 2nd shoe, i think gucci.. 3rd shoe, kenneth cole new york

  • what brand are the two shoes you showed?

  • how do you feel about white leather gators?

  • He really hate guys that wear tennis shoes with their suit...it's total hollywood douchebag look!

  • you need to get a more professional high-quality camera, it doesn't make you (and the service you offer) that professional.

  • Jesus christe, with all these rules i'm starting to be afraid going outside of my house.

it's like murders out there if you're not fashionable.

  • that second shoe was weird.. don't know about that tassel or the strange textured pattern

  • what is the shoe at 1:40 ? its look so expensive and classy u know like u wearing it with nice black jacket and u have 3 silver buttons in the jacket .. nice black formal pants with this shoes will be amazing

  • @barbarshater i think they are something by kenneth cole

  • prada!! lol :)

  • Very informative video, thank you. I currently have a pair of Bostonian oxfords with the classic conservative capped toe style. I polish them regularly, but unfortunately I haven't yet purchased a pair of shoe trees for them and they've already creased quite a bit, but I keep them polished very well so it isn't as noticeable. I'm thinking of upgrading to a different brand of shoe, maybe Church's. I know that both Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan wore Church's for the James Bond character.

  • your hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thank goodness rounded shoes have returned! I never liked the square toes anyway. I am with you on loafers! Always classics, so many different kinds.

  • I wear a polo shirt (slightly off white, slightly unbuttoned, with brown very thin vertical lines), khaki cargo shorts, and brown lacoste leather sandals.

I think it looks great on me (i'm only 16 though). What are your opinions? this is what I wear most of the time.

  • ALDO

  • Your jacket is a size too big.

  • Hello Aaron, thanks for your videos! Is this video still up to date? I believe styles change fast, so just want to check if you believe this still works?

  • what would be a good sneaker to wear during the summer?

  • I just bought new shoes: D'Acquasparta , its tight and they are handmade

Search it on google it really cool!

  • I LOVE ITALIAN SHOES!!!

  • Here's a question, how about Boat Shoes/Loafers? I've never been a fan because to me it reminds me of something my Grandpa wore way back when. I know some people who SWEAR by boat shoes though. I'm sure they're convenient for slipping on and walking around but so are sandals...doesn't mean sandals look good with jeans walking out and about trying to pick up girls.

  • Good advice bro. I totally agree on the shoes. But what do you think about cuban heels/high heel men's shoes???

  • What junk! Corrected leather from China! Invest in a pair of Tricker's or C&J's, dude! Much cooler, DUDE!

  • Hugo Boss has very nice shoes

  • @MorthusProductions

yeah I like Hugo Boss shoes

  • good videos!

  • Check out Overstock too... Steve Maddens under fifty or sixty bucks, which is insane.

  • Aaron, I would've liked you to address the topic of pairing different color shoes with the outfit. For example is it true black shoes will go with any color suit? And what about brown shoes?

  • a question mostly answered wrong. Actually black shoes being the more formal of the two need to not be worn as much, brown shoes are generally more appropriate and if you get a neutral color such as cigar or Cognac, it will go with all browns, khakis, jeans, grays, and is acceptable even fashionable with a black suit in a less formal occasion... keep the blacks for for formal occasions.

  • keep the beard man!!! i wish i could have a beard like that!

  • this guy needs to trim his beard he's starting to look like a hobo.

  • How do you feel about low Chuck Taylors? What would be a good versitile shoe to wear with button up/t shirt and dark jeans?

  • I have seen them look good! I have also seen them look bad. All depends on the person and the outfit, but yes, Chucks are cool sneakers.

  • Good job Aaron!

  • You are sexy, Aaron, with a fantastic sense of style!

  • girls hate guys with pointed shoes and high heels...

  • Lol I like square toed shoes, perfect example the first one lol! Went shopping with a friend's g/f once, she was all about pointed.

  • God this "Modestoca25" certainly has an obession saying that everything is "gay" on these videos. I'm sensing a closeted dude that should do himself a favor and come out already. Someone clearly has a crush and obsession with Aaron. Regardless, cool videos Aaron, ignore the insecure haters.

  • Thanks buddy, I get a kick out of the douche bags.

  • @markblaster1 It's not gay, it's metrosexual. If that's not your piece of cake, change channel.

  • @egarrulo why use the word metrosexual...he just a well sharp guy, with good gromming habits like there a lot of us out there, the world metrosexual scared men for being point out as gay and its not good

  • @kanituky Grooming and taking care of yourself is a good thing. I'm not against even male makeup (done right). But there is a level where it is too much. It is a subtle difference, but when you see it, you recognize it. Subtly enhancing your appearance is good, it is not so about trying too hard, which looks like you are seeking approval from others, and that's a turn off. For instance: trim your eyebrows and pluck errand hairs, but do not shape them.

  • @egarrulo Iam so glad you mentioned eyebrows. As a gay man, I never understood why my ilk and even straight men get into SHAPING their eyebrows. There is nothing more unsexy and un-masculine than shaping one's brows. Unibrows are one thing and tweezing them in the middle to form two brows is ok, but when a man's eyebrows are sharply defined and shaped; that is so unappealing. Guidos are the worst! Straight men, leave shaping to the women and fem gays. We are men and men don't shape!

  • @egarrulo i agree. but IMO using male makeup at all already classifies you as try hard.

I think its about dressing for yourself, not for others. I could give a shit what people think of me...and frankly, you dont need to look good for girls to like you, you need to be dominant, a leader, a physical and intimate person, charismatic, optimistic, a go getter.....clothes dont really matter for those things. I dress well because I enjoy it.

  • @kanituky I've just learned the "metrosexual" word can be intended as an insult, and that wasn't my intention. I just wanted to say roughly what you are saying about him.

  • @markblaster1

its because he's from modesto, ca....... duh

  • Sperry Topsiders are HOTT.

  • he is 16 year old kid.

  • I would have trouble getting consulted by this guy because I would be more focused on him than the clothes or advice...he is really hot.

  • You have heard that the camera ads 10 pounds? Well I have a camera that makes me good looking. I look like Rosie O'Donnell in person.

  • And you have a good sense of humor about it (though I'm sure you're just as attractive in person)...thanks for the videos - they're really helpful!

  • Where can I get a camera like that?

  • dude, you can totally pull off wolverine for halloween hah.

  • I think I'm more interested in the guy's face! LOL

  • I am sorry but style isn't about wearing the current trends or name brand designer(s). Style is about what works for you.

  • I agree, a lot of this is this own guy's personal preference. I can see his style of dress if you're wanting that "gay fashion designer/hair stylist" look.......Then all means wear the pointy toed shoes and baby blue frilly open fitted dress shirts with the plucked thin eyebrows.....fabu!

  • Dude you're hilarious calling Aaron gay when you're favorites are all "Savage Garden" music videos and a bunch of shirtless dudes videos in showers videos...that's "fabu." Typical closet case. Why the hate? These videos are helpful. Stop being so angry. Someone needs a BJ.

  • I think we all need one!

  • @modestoca25 looking nice is gay? look at all these scene and emo's men walking around and compare it to this style, then try calling it gay.

  • @SnortingSkittles When gay people dress up gay and do gay stuff ill give them a pass. But when straight guys wear tight jeans and do gay shit they deserve to ger a beat down for it. Any ways people say that because they are affraid of change. Too scared to change now that's beaing a pussy.

  • this guy is a hack...dressing well is not hard

    aldo is better than zappos

  • Hack....indeed! Aldo is okay...have you ever looked on zappos? Some of aldo shoes look okay....but they fall apart. Also, when aldo gets a new shoe in...they only get one of each size. Kinda frustrating.

  • then what are you doing here mr/miss i know everything?

  • Yeah Zappos Rocks

  • Very true about Zappos; great site. I found it a few years back but have never ordered anything yet becuase of potential size conflicts.

  • 'potential fashion opportunity, into a style liability' sorry just like thats turn of phrase :)

good vids! very imformative, just working my way thru, nice to hear from someone who obviously knows what there on about!

  • Aaron with the pointy shoe trend ending can you provide us an updated shoe video or have the styles changed enough. Noticed the leprechaun look is going away like the pilgram shoe.

  • what a beautiful man

  • What is your take on keeping shoes clean and polished? I'm very conscientious about maintaining my shoes and boots. I keep them in top form and place cedar trees in them to maintain the shape and eliminate odor. I work with some highly-paid execs who will wear the same pair of shoes every single day that they never maintain. They will wear them until they're falling apart, then finally replace them with another cheap pair that they will wear every day for the next 18 months. I don't get it.

  • awesome awesome awesome advice...def getting me some more shoes this will be shoes 89 for me! :)

  • Thank you for your input. My bad...I thought people wanted to look the best they can. But obviously I was wrong and stand corrected.

  • You're funny, Aaron. While I still wear my cowboy boots, I have ditched my clunky shoes, button-down collar tabs and un-fitted dress shirts. Your advise, sense of humor and approach really works and I, for one, appreciate your candor. Keep it up!

  • I am so glad you have a sense of humor. You would be surprised at how many people DO NOT! And I thought I took this whole style/image thing seriously. Some of these folks are even more "passionate" about this then I am. You would think I ran over their dog or something.

  • No kidding! Lots more men put thought and effort into their appearance than are willing to admit to it. Most just act like they don't care, but you can tell they do. I guess it's not a manly enough thing. Whatever. At the gym, it amazes me how much time and primping they do; they spend more time in front of the mirror than their wives!

  • gotta say i thought the 1st pair was way more fashionable than the last. i agree on loafers... hate laces

but why do u assume men would want to look "sleeker and slimmer" to be fashionable? i never wear pointy shoes (like ur 3rd pair) because they look like female high heels. i tend to go for wider shoes and wider toes (not as wide as that 1st one) cuz theyre comfortable and narrower shoes make ur image delicate, not to be confused with a slimmer image, in my humble opinion...

  • the tip of your shoe can make the difference between looking thin or fat ? ...... wow .... so much to learn !

  • Excellent advice and presentation. You have found the right field for you! In our culture of "one overly-casual look fits all" you are a much needed deliverer. Kind-of-a straight guy for the straight guy I guess. Oh, and you do actually pull off the earring thing! Thanks again.

  • Thank you so much. Putting yourself out there like this, opens you up to some negative feedback. However, getting compliments such as yours, makes it all worth it.

  • ok, here is my issue: although the square clunky shoes are indeed hideous, back when they were in "style" did you recommend them to others, or did you shun them due to the ugliness - in spite of being "in style"?

Also, I do like the loafers you showed, however there is a trend bandwagon every wannabe superstar professional is joining - the "pointy dress shoe". Yes, is considered fashionable, but myself and everyone else I ask think they should go in the garbage. What do you think?

  • I see where you are going with this. The funny thing about style and trends is that what is hot today, will not be in a month....but it will be again in the next few years. They come and go. You are always safe if you stick to the classics. Certain styles and shoes have been around for decades and Will always be appropriate. I must admit, I did own a few pairs of square toed shoes.

  • Great advice! I still own a pair of chunky shoes, but now that you've corrected me, I'll donate them. I prefer the elongated, narrower shoes that are common nowadays for wearing to the office. And yes, I'm the one that griped about your cowboy boot opinions and I will never give mine up. I feel about earrings on a guy the way you do about cowboy boots, but to each his own. Your advice offers some great guidelines. Thanks!

  • you forgot to mention.... NEVER wear ear rings. they look absolutely ridiculous

  • Are you giving me a hard time? That okay, I like my earrings and if you enjoy something and "feel" that you pull it off...I say go for it.

  • Also, while a loafer is a good casual shoe, a pair of double monkstraps would be better. Crockett & Jones makes superb men's shoes, especially in the 337 last, and really should be looked into. Again, most Zappos dress shoes are as bad or worse than department store models, featuring corrected-grain leather and cemented soles. NOT a good buy in terms of long-term value or style.

  • Thanks for the value added to my life and confidence

  • love all your videos. thanks! (although the 3 squirts of cologne may already be too much for some:)

  • Thanks for this video! very helpful!

  • I never knew that shoes could play such an integral role in the entire ensemble. Thanks. Great points.
