what burton board should i get if im in size 11 shoes and 5'9 in height and 140 some pounds im thinking of going wide because i dont wanna have toe drag
@goneriding11 I actually just bought this board today and I went with the wide. I pretty much match your descrition of yourself, and they recomended I get the wide board. I have not yet been able to try it out, but I think going with a wide board would be the best choice.
If you do not have EST bindings you can use strap bindings as long as they are Burton. Any ICS/Channel board will come with 2 converter discs that attach via 2 screws into each Channel.
This uses the ICS channel which only works with ONLY Burton bindings either EST (which are made for it) or their regular 3-holed base plate binding. When you get the board, it should come with an adapter so that if you don't have the EST's you can use a normal Burton binding. If not, call em up, they'll send you one for free. But a non Burton binding will NOT work. Yeah I know it's really lame.
yep positive. if you get the board and it doesn't come with the adapter (called a Retro plate), then just call burton up and they'll hook u up. it should come with one unless u buy it used or something.
So this board falls into the same general category as the skate banana. Are there any other boards that relate to it from other companies? And which ones would the general senses recommend?
If you mean banana as with Lib Tech then yes. It also has exaggerated pressure distribution edges which allows it to function similar to the Magne-Traction designs that are all over the market.

Only thing I got from this video is that when you ride it you instantly "feel like a HERO".

It tried that board. It doesn't "hold an edge". It's hard to carve on this thing at higher speeds. And the turns seem wide when you do carve.

forumrider67 2 years ago
No i dont think you can you have to have the EST style with a bolt on each side

The est's make it alot better because they dont cut down on the flex of the board as much

Are you sure that a regular burton binding will work? I am thinking about buying this board now, but i don't want to switch over to ICS.
