Oh, this is so beautiful! They have been together all along, and the eyes just need to open. I love "this feels strange and untrue" to the 70s/"316" story. Then when you did the split screen stuff to Kate trying to open her eyes and the waterfalls and reunion...I was at the edge of my seat. :)
