Nothing against Boyzone, but this is really poor compared to the original. Cat Stevens delivered every single line so perfectly, with so much emotion and meaning. He meant every word he sang, and sang it straight from the heart. This hasnt really got the emotion/power behind the delivery. Plus, the faster tempo just burys the emotion of the song even further.

There's two things I don't like about this one and what I love about CS one. FIrst off, cat sings the son an octive higher, to make you believe it's the son talking this time. Also, the father of Cat is more relaxed and melow, like an old man, whilst the son is singing energetically with a bit of harshness.  So no, this really doesn't compare, it's missing those two important things.
