Common sense = more guns in Illinois?! Common sense = less restrictions for purchasing and owning guns?! Really?! Look, you guys like guns. Just say it. You like guns. Period. You like holding them. You like firing them. They are exciting, right?Just be honest with us. The rest is crap. Militias won't need guns if they were to be called on to defend themselves. They would need tanks and missiles and missile detection and UVAs... not hand guns. Why not be honest about it?

The two phrases of 2A were joined for a reason. We may, as an unorganized militia of one or more, need to defend ourself, our nation, town, family, neighborhood, etc., when immediately presented with a threat; therefore we need to be proficient with, and in possession of firearms. We may be called on to join the posse, or the organized militia, and our kit, will be what we serve with for three to five days, or until properly relieved. We must prepare our family, to work with local authority.
