Very impressive air tapping. Hey brother are you using the stock pickups that came on your Takamine or are they custom? I have an electric acoustic Martin and an electric acoustic Dean but can not get the volume you are achieving while air tapping with either of them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The pickups are stock, actually! It's a Takamine EN-20, got it from my dad ages ago. One of the reasons i might be getting more volume is that i am running it not direct, but also through my pod, with a few effects and an amp sim. You can hear a bit of the crunch and compression in the sound because of it.
