Holy crap! I think I actually remember this commercial as a kid. @ the time I had no idea who the Jackson's were though. I didn't know who MJ was until the big debut of the Thriller video on MTV. I remember it was such a big thing. $1,000,000 video & like...MJ coming into his own. Our whole family watched it. Even my grandparents!

To be specific, I would say his voice began to change in late 1972. If you have listened to the Jackson 5's "In Japan!" album, which was from the April 30, 1973 concert, you can see that by then, his voice had already broken. In fact, Michael's voice didn't completely mature until about 1975.
