What a season. Treble winners and that small club city having to go to a play off final in what was the old 3rd division. I was there at the Nou Camp for that very special night of May 26th as well.1999 Year of cherished memories..

the difference between arsenal and united was 1 point and this was the last day.Arsenal beat villa to win 1-0 but it made no difference as united won against spurs.

United won this game to lift the PL , next week they beat newcastle 2-0 to lift the FA cup and 3 days later beat bayern to lift the champs league , what a season and what a team.The treble which so few teams have achieved.This was one of the best teams.United forever

One of the very few times in my life Ive never cheered a Spurs goal and never wanted Spurs to win.Plus we won league cup that year and Gooners won nothing and with Arsenal doing double in 98 & rubbing our noses in it 99 was a year for payback for those scumy gooners.
