People should stop mentioning Coldplay in videos or posts about Radiohead. People are obviously going to be furious. Look, undoubtedly, Radiohead is way better than Coldplay. And it's true, Coldplay's early work was clearly influenced by Radiohead. They actually improved when they stopped channeling Radiohead. Listen to OK Computer (which came out in 1997) and then listen to Coldplay's Parachutes (which came out in '99). It's blatantly obvious that Coldplay is directly influenced by Radiohead. In short, Radiohead are the innovators, Coldplay are the imitators.

@Illadelphism I get what you are saying and trust me, I love radiohead, but they themselves are obviously influenced by other bands (See: Nirvana, who were influenced by the Pixies, who were influenced by The Jesus and Mary Chain, who were influenced by Misfits). You can play this blame game all the way back the the Beatles, it doesn't make Coldplay any less of a worthy band.

What you don't understand is that fame is not a shame.
