fuck i miss this song! It randomly popped into my head and I looked in up on youtube. i can't find the orginal anywhere... I know it's on an olllllllllldddd mixed cd I made but alas it's 2010 and I can't find that CD anywhere haha
John Ulin did not write this song, Jimmy Robbins did. and John (never say forever) did a cover version. there is much controversy over this song. in the end, the was no legal action taken. however, theres other songs off this album John was accused of not writing- songs such as "old habits die hard" "if the choice was mine" and more. just some food for thought. peace.
@ihaveniceass I'm pretty sure Jimmy Robbins took his version off the internet but it might be on his album he released with Inter-scope. I think that's on itunes. I'm team John over Jimmy all day long. Everyone is stealing each other songs. But John is not a thief.
@FerrisWheelTerror Ahhhh I was about to write this then I saw someone pointed out the Robbins vs. Ulin controversy. John admitted, (I think) to "making his own version," of "Letter to the Ex" by Jimmy Robbins. It turned out more of a cover. But John wrote every other song on that album. You sir, are ignorant and need to get your head out of Jimmy's butt. Seriously.

Man, I put you on while I was browsing the web. Your style/voice makes me think of a mix between an acoustic Hawthorne Heights and Plain White T's.
This song is awesome. Five points to you, sir. ;)
