  • @a1mint You are probably an internet agent of somekind yourself...

  • I assure you all, no matter what the circumstance is, that time is running out for the word FREEDOM in it's entirety. take it or leave it, it's your choice of course...

  • OOOh if all of you knew just how much you have and ARE being lied to... :) Please wake up everyone...

  • Oh ya, it's because your a blood thirsty, illuminati reptoid!

  • Why do you blink so much?

  • I really like this guy I hope he is Primeminister one day.

I think Harper has probelms communicating and is too secretive in his policies.

  • @Mudd0000 This Iggy guy scares me! I don't like the way he refuses to drop his American citizenship and commit to Canada. It does seem to many of us that he truly is, "just visiting".

Just the way I see it.

  • @mikefastener The America thing is a smear played by the cons. Fact is he brings experience. It's an asset.

  • @a1mint But you didn't answer--is he an American?

    Yes or No....

How can someone know Canada who was out of the country for 42 years?

    How?

  • @mikefastener I thought it was in the 30's, but he's clearly a formidable Canadian, that brings in foreign experience as a bonus.

He understands the issues quite well.

And compare this to Harper. Harper really does bring in a some dangerous American ways of thinking. Take health care for instance. He does not like public health and wants it to be privatized, just like the USA.

Who's more Canadian, Ignatieff, or Harper? Who represents Canadian values on average more accurately? Not Harper ! ! !

  • @a1mint Iffy would not have fumbled so many times if he understood the issues quite well. Who's more Canadian, the descendant of Russian nobility who hasn't been in this country for decades or a hockey dad who stayed all that time to improve Canada? Mr Harper by a country mile!

I’m convinced the Iffy is just visiting. See after he loses the next election.

  • @mikefastener Ignatieff was born in Toronto. "fumbled" about what?

Harper does not reflect the sentiment of the average Canadian at all.

Ignatieff is a much better fit. The problem with Ignatieff is marketing. He needs a better agent, so to say.

Try some more smears, it'll only do you further harm...

  • @a1mint Of course, of course--better marketing. (Didn't you say that about Martin? Dion? etc. etc.)

Oh well, we Canadians will take the hockey dad over the Russian Count anytime!

  • @mikefastener

Paul Martin is actually a very interesting person. He's very intelligent, and reflects Canadian values quite well.

Again, what's the low life smears? Ignatieff is born in Canada. His father is Russian. Why are you trying to label him with something that you think will make people think less of him? It really is a dirty childish tactic that you see Conservative do all the time.

  • @a1mint I am glad Mr. Martin is interesting. So is the guy I speak to who works at Tim Horton's--interesting is hardly a qualification for PM!!!

You call truths, "low life smears"? Tell me where I am wrong!

Why is it is always seems that lie-berals are trying to hide the facts from Canadians?

Let us decide! What is wrong with the lie-beral party?

I get nervous when lie-berals talk about "hiding" facts.

    Don't you?

  • @mikefastener

Mr Martin is interesting as he has a lot of very good insight as to what is important and relevant at a Prime Minister's level.

Making condescending comparisons only further shows how you like resort to smears. We'll all know what party condones those tactics.

As for lies, the Cons are the grand master overlords of lies and deception - that much is crystal clear. They operate in secret and keep the press at bay. True dictatorship mentalities, driven by Harper.

  • @a1mint

"Martin has a lot of very good insight...at a PM level"--I guess Cdn's disagreed with you in an election!

Tell us the lies you say Mr. Harper uses!

(This is a common lie-beral tactic!)

Next answer will be very interesting, folks!)

  • were you thier at this dissiosion were you on the panel

  • I think now Canada is really in a bad shape, this is a guy who supports, indefinite detention of suspects, illegal interrogations, targeted assassinations, and pre-emptive wars, he was wrong in his initial support of the Iraq invasion, Country First sure sounds like a Republican BS in the states and we Have Stephen Harper.

I just Hope under an Obama administration the USA is not going to start any new wars.

  • If by 'wild ride' you mean going from disinterest in Canada to returning in 2005 and now leader of the Liberals. I agree. I like Ignatieff but he's shown no long-term commitment to Canada. His quick rise makes me feel like I'm living in Kazakhstan. I don't like Harper at all but at least he didn't leave the country for 30 years.

  • Ignatieff is thorough, thoughtful, intelligent, sensible. After all the excitement in the US, I'm excited to see we too have someone with some depth.

  • @a1mint Iggy's flirtation with the Separatist-Socialist Coalition (where Separatist Senators were a definite possibility)--Finance Minister Bob Rae, anyone?--makes many of us nervous. Let us kept the finances with Mr. Harper's strong leadership. (He is an Economist you know.)

  • @mikefastener Mr. Harper an economist? He's been splurging money left and right while at the same time destroying various support groups. He turned a surplus into a massive deficit.

Mr. Harper is also anti public health care, and if he ever gets majority, he would surely sabotage health care and weasel private health care in.

  • @a1mint Wow--where do I begin? "splurging money...." with Iffy screaming to spend more! Thank goodness we have Mr. Harper--the world is jealous of Canada's performance under his steady hand--that's good enough for me!

"anti public health care"?--you mean like the private clinic Paul Martin goes to? "sabotage health care"? I believe Paul Martin already did that when he reduced transfer payments.

    My oh my--such "inconvenient truths"!

    Agreed?

  • @mikefastener

Harper changed a surplus into a massive deficit.

Harper was president of the NCC, with privatization of health care its primary agenda item.

Harper is un-Canadian and that is that. The vast majority is against him.

  • @a1mint If that is your criteria then remember that even a bigger majority is against Iffy!

Oh well, Taliban Jack really appears to be the Official Opposition these days.

    Agreed?

  • @mikefastener I disagree. The Liberals and the NDP have more in common than either do the Conservatives.

The Liberalil-ish flavored votes are divided between the Liberals and the NDP.

The LIberals and the NDP are far more likely to form a coalition than does the Conservatives with anyone. The cons are in a minority, very much so, and you know it.

  • @a1mint Sorry, but Cdn's do not want a Separtist-Socialist Coalition ever again!

Last time, Separtist Senators were a definite possibility with Iggy's lust for power and lack of knowledge of Cdn's!

Let us be clear on That!

  • @mikefastener

But the Liberals and the NDP could still join without the Bloc.

I'm not happy with separatists either, or the threat thereof.

But also don't forget how the Cons are milking this fear threat for what it's worth.

    Politics.

  • @a1mint A Separtist-Socialist Coalition scares me as well. I am glad Mr. Harper and his party are making all Cdn's aware of the dangers.

What are you trying to hide?

  • @mikefastener

Harper applies church like fear mongering tactics. The guy is a cunning and deceptive liar and a distortionist.

Neither the Liberals nor the NDP are separatists.

Your CON damage control tactics and/or propaganda campaigns seem to be backfiring on you. I suggest you quit now while the damage is still relatively small.

  • @a1mint Wow! Mr. Harper (and all of us Conservative supporters) are liars.

    Tell us the lies!

(Again folks, stay tuned, minty will likely run away like all lie-beral supporters do when confronted!)

Come on minty--don't disappoint--tell us the lies.....

    The floor is your's.....

  • @mikefastener Taxing inome trusts, Cadman affair, Fixing elections, Appointing senators, Not cleaning up political ethics, Media censorship, Not returning illegally collected softwood lumber tarrifs, Prison torture coverups, Transfer payment/non-renewable resources calculations, Lobbyists hiring, Free trade lies, Global warming, Recession, Deficits, Carbon tax/rebates, Env platform, NDP income taxes, Public funding elections, Coalition lies, Iraq/Afghanistan war politics
  • @mikefastener

You're pretending the lies are the Liberal's lies. You're just parroting back the list I provided with Harper's lies.

Scummy tactics of you. But that figures, because that's how your sort operates. On lies, distortions, deceptions, and all the rest of it.

    Con man !

  • @a1mint You can't take lie-beral lies and blame them on Mr. Harper; afterall, Iggy is happy with Mr. Harper--otherwise he would vote him out!

    Correct?

    (An inconvenient truth!)

  • @mikefastener Not correct. The preference is to keep the Liberal party as it is, and the best strategy, short term and medium term, is to keep Harper on its toes.

As time goes by, people get sick and tired of Harper, and the tides turn.

    You can't handle the truth!

  • @a1mint Uh..I "can't handle the truth". You mean like Mr. Harper gaining another seat in Parliament with yesterday's three elections? Iggy--no change in his seat count. The Globe and Mail (a Liberal newspaper) wrote Iggy is 1 out of 7 against Mr. Harper in by-elections which traditionally go against the gov't! Funny how the people are showing how sick and tired they are of Mr. Harper by continuing to raise his seat count!

Any comment minty? (Or do you want to change the subject, as usual?)

  • @mikefastener

That does not make the Cons a good party. Fact remains, Harper is a pathological liar. I've pointed out a bunch of key things he has lied about. Serious stuff.

    Seat schmeat.

Ignatieff has marketing problems. But that does not mean that Liberal values are bad values.

    Your propaganda campaign isn't working.

  • @a1mint Oh minty, minty (You are sounding ridiculous!) We know from the recent lie-beral corruption scandal the values of lie-berals...don't we?

"seat schmeat" yes, yes--I am happy that you are not concerned about seats.

That will allow Iffy to continue to languish while Mr. Harper carries on with his strong, honest leadership for Canadians.

(You should take your comedy act on the road!)

  • @mikefastener The people involved in the corruption scandal are long gone from the Liberal party. Playing that smear tactic again shows the low tactics you Cons play. Pretending the Liberals are all bad, and while ignoring the allegations on Harper's lies. Honest? Definitely NOT!

He used to be president of the NCC, with its primary agenda item health care privatization. If Harper ever gets majority, then we'll see the same misery as in the States here.

    Awful Con!

  • @a1mint Got you again minty!!!

"ignoring the allegations on Harper's lies"----anyone can make allegations, we need proof! On the other hand, we know a party that was convicted in a little inquiry as being a very corrupt party....don't we? (OMG...you make this too easy!)

Any comment on Cdn's decisions in yesterday's elections....or are you in "pout" mode?

  • minty....we are finally in full agreement!! After seeing Iggy's performance for the last 2 weeks, like you, I want him to be liberal leader for a long, long time.....which means he will be Leader of the Opposition for a long, long time!

Glad we now have common purpose!

  • @mikefastener So you agree that there are a few things rotten in Denmark with your grand leader.... good.

  • @a1mint Wow! So you agree that the lie-beral party is rotten to the core and is, as determined by Justice Gomery, "a very corrupt party"!

We are indeed getting somewhere--thank you!

  • @mikefastener Wow! So you agree that the Conservative party are rotten to the core, corrupt, lie all the time (as pointed out - WHICH you ignore as the true CON artist you truly are). Corruption is written on your forehead you QUACK !

Thank you for showing how predictable you are, you PAWN !

  • @a1mint Are you saying you disagree with Justice Gomery?

    (Appointed by Paul Martin, BTW.)

    (snicker)(snicker)

  • @mikefastener You can not keep playing the sponsorship scandal card indefinitely. None of the people involved have been with the Liberal party for quite a while.

If you want to look for corruption, lies, hidden policies, secrecy, and backstabbing, look no further, your beloved little CON party is full of it.

  • @a1mint Pooooor minty! I know you are angry of all the facts that came out in the recent lie-beral corruption scandal (fewer and fewer Canadians call it the Sponsorship Scandal). Don't you think Iggy and the lie-berals should pay back that $40million they stole? Cdn's are shocked when they hear it have never been paid back. What are your thoughts on the one, specific item?

  • @mikefastener ugh you again...

You're distorting and spreading propaganda FUD again, like a typical CON. You CON have SUCH a hard time behaving yourselves. Every time you get in power, things get fucked up.

  • @a1mint (I know "ugh"--I seem to ask the questions you wish to avoid!)

Sooooo....for the second time....should the lie-beral party pay back that $40million that Judge Gomery determined they stole for Canadian taxpayers?

  • @mikefastener 4 messages up.

  • @mikefastener This case hasn't finished.

In other news, as you continue to lick your leader's ass, here's an example of him destroying things:

    theglobeandmail(dot)com(slash)news(slash)politics(slash)ottawa-makes-last-minute-fix-to-student-loan-funding(slash)article1696833

  • @a1mint Sooooo....for the third time....should the lie-beral party pay back that $40million that Judge Gomery determined they stole for Canadian taxpayers?

  • @mikefastener Again, this issue isn't finished.

And how about all those lies and Harper destructing our social fabric like a true CON?

  • @a1mint So you are saying that you want the lie-berals to pay back the corruption money to Canadians....correct?

  • @a1mint My god!!!! This Iggy guy scares me with his American ideas (he is an American afterall and Mr. Harper is not).

Hard to argue that point.....isn't it?

    (Certainly an, inconvenient truth.)

  • Comment removed

  • @mikefastener To correct your pathetic childish smear. Ignatieff was born in Canada and is a Canadian.

His foreign experience makes him that much better.

But it is your goal to only point out what you think is negative to suit your hate campaigns. Again, it shows the kind of destructive little low life snot you really are. Typical CON tactics.

  • @a1mint Actually, Iggy became an American citizen to teach at Harvard. In addition, there is a video of Iggy referring to, "We Americans".

(A wet warm cloth will help you wipe that egg off of your face!)

  • @mikefastener

That's great! Quite an accomplishment to be recognized enough by Harvard to teach there!

And he was able to work well with there. "We Americans" nothing wrong with that.

He is also Canadian. So here, it's "We Canadians". I'm not seeing the problem at all!

Nothing but more experience, and a very well developed character.

The only thing that's clear is that you are a disgusting little snot thinking to make people hate your opponent through smears. Low life! Grow up child!

  • @a1mint "I'm not seeing the problem at all!"....yet, it took you 5 e-mails (once cornered by my excellent debating skills, BTW) to admit the facts.

Oh minty--you are looking so silly right now and you know it!

(How did that wet cloth work--at wiping the egg off of your face?)

    Just (continuing) to be wondering.....

  • @mikefastener Your "excellent debating skills" got you nowhere. You ended up making the Cons terrible and your dirty smears didn't work.

    Loser!

  • @a1mint pooooor minty (or changethesubjectminty, more accurately).

Understand Iggy wants an election, will lose with Mr Harper's surging popularity, Iggy will go back to the US (he is an American, you know) and the lie-berals will look for another saviour (fourth one in 6 years, right?)

OMG...when will these lie-berals love Canada as much as they love themselves?

Just an question, begging to be answered....how about you take a try?

  • @mikefastener Harper is not surging in popularity. People are realizing that Harper has been lying too much and does not represent the general Canadian values.

And you using smears how the Liberals are the supposed liar is incorrect, because clearly evidence shows that the Cons are the ones with lies on their hands. Need those links again?

Your smears aren't working, you cow!

  • @a1mint Uhhhhhh,

    2006 election....Mr. Harper-124 seats......lie-berals-103

    2008 election...Mr. Harper-143 seats.......lie-berals-77

Gain for Mr. Harper-15%.....Loss for lie-berals-25%

Wow!!! I didn't realize how strong the surge was for Mr. Harper!

    What do your think "changethesubjectminty"?

  • @mikefastener The consensus is that Harper will only achieve minority at best, because people don't trust him. And rightfully so. That guy is a freaking liar. And so are you.

  • @a1mint After the recent lie-beral corruption scandal, it is amazing how well Mr. Harper has done in trying to return confidence of Canadians back into the federal government. (A simple inspection of the last two election results, which I provided to you, BTW, easily proves this out.)

Oh well, certainly for you, "an inconvenient truth".

How is that answer about the $40million that lie-berals stole from Cdn's coming along?...."changethesubjectminty"

    (snicker)

  • @a1mint love your comment minty...."has been lying too much"....while the lie-berals know the amount of lying that is acceptable! How about the lie-berals take a lesson from Mr. Harper and not lie at all?

Lie-berals will have problems with this; afterall, it is in their DNA to lie.

An inconvenient truth for you perhaps?...

    Just wondering...

  • @mikefastener

You are a very slow learner. The part that's been lying is the Conservatives. I've listed various links, but you pretend it doesn't exist.

You clearly are a con artist.

  • @a1mint Oh "changethesubjectminty"....you can provide "various, lie-beral bias, links"; however, the best link is a court of justice, the one Mr. Gomery chaired (at the request of lie-beral leader, Paul Martin) into lie-beral corruption and entitlement.

Do you remember the result of that little inquiry?

    Just (continuing) to wonder.....

  • @a1mint OMG...did you hear the news? Lie-beral MP's have applied to the Human Rights Board. It seems they feel discriminated against by Cdn's who are holding them up to the same, higher standard as Mr. Harper's party. These lie-berals claim that corruption, lying and thief are an inherent part of the lie-beral culture and can't be changed. Interesting--the Human Rights Board has stated that the case does indeed have merit.

    Stay tuned for further developments....

  • @mikefastener

The Conservatives are the ones guilty of the most lies - by far ! Harper does not have the decency to play open, clear, clean, and transparent. Closed doors, secrecy, and lie upon lie upon lie.

And you are a liar too.

  • @a1mint Wow! "Harper does not have the decency...etc, etc"....I guess Iggy (or, more appropriately, Iffy) should bring down the government!!! (snicker)(snicker)

And why are Cdn's surging to Mr. Harper's party if your statements were true?

Oh my, minty.....you are indeed sounding silly!

Any comment? (You may wish to run away now like many left wingers.)

  • @a1mint When did you say the lie-berals would pay back that $40million they stole from Canadians in the recent lie-beral corruption scandal?

  • @mikefastener You either have a short term memory problem or you're hoping to re-use your old smears again. Having showed the kind of slime you are, I think people can make up their own mind about you.

  • @a1mint How about we call you, changethesubjectminty? You refuse to answer about the $40million stolen by the lie-berals in the recent lie-beral corruption scandal. Yes or No....should the lie-berals pay it back?

(Folks, be ready for changethesubjectminty to go on some false tirade about Mr. Harper--minty is so angry at the good job Mr. Harper is doing!)

Come on minty $40 million...don't lose focus!

  • @a1mint minty...last time I called you out on lie-beral hypocrisy (as I just did in my last response) you ran away in a snit. (Obviously, you had no answer as a comeback!)

Will you be doing that again?

    Just wondering....

  • @mikefastener

WTF are you talking about? My previous message provided a list of some of the things Harper lied about. Trouble reading or something?

  • @a1mint That list is the list of lie-beral lies. You simply respresented them as lies from Mr. Harper's party.

    Good try!
