  • "Декабрьские вечера" ("December Nights") в музее изобразительных искусств им. Пушкина..

  • I never thought I'd like this sonata until I heard Richter played it. What tone, timing, dynamics, and tension. Richter is half german and that side of him showed his affinity for Beethoven.

  • I really enjoyed the way he brought out the lighthearted playfulness of the music. Thank you for posting!

  • I was hoping I would find Richter playing this. He is my favourite pianist. <3

  • I dislike Yamaha sound. It is too nasal and felt-sound, no strings.

  • @TokyoDoggyDog I agree. Not really suited for Classical music, more of a Jazz piano. I wish Richter performed on Blüthner pianos instead.

  • great richter !!!!!

  • Richter playing on a Yamaha grand? I thought he was a Steinway man.

  • Watch the Enigma -

  • @freeqwerqwer Richter didn't care much about the piano's, although he did like yamaha's.. He mentioned in the Enigma doc. he played some of his best performances on lousy piano's

  • @freeqwerqwer no he turned to them later in life, like Gould.

  • @freeqwerqwer no he always played on yamahas for their extreme pianissimo.

  • thank, thank, thank, thank thank you so much

  • The rest is coming!

  • Thank you so much for sharing those gems with us! Any chance of seeing the rest of the sonata on here? Thanks again.
